Another night, another game, another list. Sort of. Not really. Factually incorrect.
Haley1 - Stormwall, Gallant, Squire, Harlen Versh, Arlan Strangeways, Gun Mages w/UA + Defender
Objective: Bunker
The plan to change the list sadly got torpedoed by time and a need to earn monies, so this list iteration limps along to one (totally, hopefully, potentially, please glorious Monkey God of Atlantis) last game.
Into G-unit running that Scottish/native American/Blue man group amalgamation.
Ragnar1 - Glacier King, Mountain King, Stone unit (Min), Kriel Warriors, Fire Breather jerks, Lannyssa, Alten Ashley, Feralgeist
Objective: Bunker
Scenario is Extraction, ye old baseball Diamond. One side has a trench/rubble, centre table is two forests and a hill, other side has water and a wall.
I win the roll, Trolls take the side with water and a wall. I get the Trench and Rubble so all good for me.
This does feel bad to me. The opposing infantry don't matter much, but double Gargantuan is pretty awful. An armour cracker this junk is not.
Round 1: My stuff all deploys fairly centrally with Anastasia ambushing. The Gargantuans go opposite the bulk of my force, the Kirel Warrios and Fire eaters then go waaaay out to the left, the side furthest from my Gun Mages. Fair enough I guess?
My opening turn Gallant and Stormwall run up the right, the Gun Mages and Defender redeploy themselves to the left. Haley and Versh stick in the centre. Haley puts Arcane Shield on herself.
The Troll pretty much move straight ahead, Glacier king pops his Animus that I sadly don't register at the time.
Proxies are:
Blank base = Mountain King
Lannysa proxy that doesn't get photographed
Some Troll models in the centre that rep Ragnar and the Stones. Enough space from the infantry that it is pretty hard to confuse them.

Cygnar 2: Anastasia Ambushes on the right.
Haley temporal Barriers, upkeeps Arcane Shield and moves up the board to catch the Gargs and front ranks of the Kriels. Camps three.
The Gun Mages knock down a pair of Kriels and kills one with Snipe shots, keeping out of Flame range, ably assisted by an awkward forest the Fire Eaters ran to far up behind.
Defender shoots....something? I don't recall.
Stormwall lines up on Lannysa and Alten, puts down Covering Fire. Glacier king Animus triggers Prowl, causing an auto miss. Dangit. Remaining shot goes into the Glacier King for sod all (Note: Halfway through the turn it was twigged by our resident rules genius that the Glacier King Animus in Faction only. Doh.).
In any event, Anastasia, the hero of our times, comes in, flicks a dagger and explodes Lannyssa's chest.

Troll 2: Fire eaters go to hard outflank on the left (Little chap out of frame).
The Kriel warriors run toward the Gun Mages.
Mountain King assaults the Defender, hits him for 10 damage and pops a Gun Mage.
Glacier King runs over the wall, Ragnar hangs between the Gargs and pops feat with the Stone behind him.
Alten sadly kills poor, innocent Anastasia.

Cygnar 3: The dreaded feat turn. thankfully the flags aren't being touched, so I can back up without having to sacrifice any of my precious pieces, then next round feat and Stormwall/Gallant can pop one Garg and the grind win is mine.
Haley Temporal's and moves back to the side of the Objective, Deadeye's the Gunmages.
The Gun mages and the Defender fall back, they kill the Fire Eaters and a Kriel Warrior.
Stormwall backs up just out of the Glacier Kings charge range, puts down a pod in front of the Glacer King and Covering Fire for giggles.
I then run Gallant in front of Haley, but discover an issue, specifically that if he hides Haley then he's in charge range of the Mountain King, so he goes to the side.
I'm in an indomitable long term gameplay position. You can probably guess what happens next.

Troll 3: Ragnar moves up in the forest, hits the objective with a knockdown spell. I've only camped one focus. He has enough Fury to cast it twice.
Knockdown Haley is easily shot to death by the Gargs.
That Deadeye was absolutely unnecessary. 1000% pointless, which isn't even a mathematical possibility. I'd not taken into account the low armour of the Fire Eaters without the Stone or feat, so thought I'd need Crit Brutals to put them down.
Before next game I should have time to make a sign reminding me of Haley's super leet survivability.
