I subbed out the Press Gangers and Grogspar, added Kayazy, Bokur and Tinker.

Menoth Deploy: I won the roll, picked the side with the trench more out of denial than anything else. Purple guys are the Riflemens.
I remember Kell being hardly around ever here, now he's getting constant gainful employment...
Merc Deploy: Counter deploy with Eiryss across from the Menoth Jacks. Alexia drooling at the souls on the board.
Menoth 1: ADVANCE. Everything runs up, though it looks like the left Sunburst didn't move. The right Reckoner has Iron Aggression, Ignite was on the left Halberdier unit.
Merc 1: TAC move up and cloud. MacBain feats on Orin, Alexia and most of the Kayazy, then casts Failsafe and Countermeasures on the Galleon and Kayazy respectively. Mustache of power man then advances a little and hides behind sweet cloudage.
The Kayazy and Alexia sprint forth, covering the right zone. Eiryss walks back a little. Orin runs around in the forest.
Galleon moves up, does some long bombs, killing a Steelhead Halb and a Sunburster dude.
Everything else hangs back.
Dougal activated after the Galleon. Still goobering, though not the end of the world on turn 1.
As Ed adroitly pointed out, the Underboss could/should have cowered in the Trench in case of Blast damage.
Menoth 2: Ignite and Iron Aggresion upkept.
The left zone goes incandescent.
Pair of Reckoners on the left get two focus each.
SunBursters fail at life, knock down one Kayazy.
Choir give the Reckoners "Don't be shot". The right two get Enlivened by the Vassals.
The Reckoners advance, they take shots on Orin but all miss.
Right Steelheads charge, they knock down Alexia.
Rest of the stuff spreads around.
Merc 2: Upkeep both spells, give two focus to Galleon.
Dougal mini-feats, puts ARtillerist on the Galleon.
Aiyanna and Holt move around, Holt forward and Aiyanna back. Holt pops a Steelhead on Alexia to feed her a third soul. Aiyanna gives magic weapons to the Merc win button.
Orin fuddles around in the forest, casts Stealth.
Galleon marches into the forest, lines up on the left most Reckoner (Not Enlivened). the mini shots kill Kell and two Choir, boosted Harpoon hits and drags the Reckoner in, slaps him for average damage.
Alexia stands, spawns three Thralls, who then stab a couple of the right Steelheads.
TAC advance, one throws a flameburst for nothing, the other two cloud.
Kayazy charge into both units of Steelheads, they kill a few from each unit.
MacBain! casts Jackhammer, needs all three focus to pop the Reckoner.
Eiryss runs, bombs the Reckoners.
Last few pieces run in circles in the back field.
Menoth 3: Iron/Ignite upkept.
Choir give +2 stuff to the Reckoners. One Vassal moves up and Ancillaries, Reckoner swings and misses at Eiryss. Right Reckoner gets Enliven.
The Reckoners move around and do shots, killing the front TAC.
Right Sunburster shoots a centre Steelhead to pop three Kayazy, it scatters and kills two Assassins and three of the Halbs.
Left Sunburster scatters way off Eiryss.
Right Steelheads kill a Thrall and fail to finish off Alexia. Centre Halbs kill a Kayazy.
Riflemen run around.
Reznik draws off a Wrack, charges a Rifleman and boosts a Perdition at Eiryss. He misses, but doesn't hurt himself. Camps three.
Merc 3: Failsafe/Countermeasures upkept, two focus to Galleon.
Eiryss walks back a little, shoots the right Reckoner,. He Enlivens to the side a little.
Galleon advances, does all shots on the Reckoner. Mini guns spike damage, Harpoon drags in and the free attack kills it.
Alexia moves around, drops three more Thralls.
Thralls all go, they do attacks on the right Steelheads, kill one.
Kayazy go, they do walks and finish off the right Steelhead unit and kill the Attendant in the centre unit, who then fail their command check.
TAC advance and cloud.
Silly and the Bokur run into the right zone.
MacBain charges Silly, toes the zone and kills the elf.
Orin walks behind Galleon, casts Anti-Magic.
Remaining stuff (Buccaneer/Tinker/Aiyanna + Holt) screw around.
Mercs go to 1 CP.
Yep. That was a pointless kill on Silly. I thought I was going to have to Jackhammer the Galleon to pop the Reckoner, I didn't have to but didn't make the mental leap to "Hey, I can run and not kill my support models!"
Menoth 4: Ignite drops.
Reckoner gets +2 from choir. Vassal Ancillaries the jack and it finally kills everyone favourite elf. Jack activates, shoots Galleon, rolls high on damage.
Sunbursters shoot, right one is stopped by Counter Measures. Left one cranks the damage roll on Galleon.
Steelheads fluff around and rally.
Reznik Engines of Destruction, charges Galleon, leaves it on half health. Feats.
Menoth go to 1 CP.
Mercs go to 2 CP.
Merc 4: Can't upkeep or allocate, MacBain is just within Rezniks Control area.
Dougal Artillerists the colossal.
Galleon moves to the corner of the left zone, mini guns kill the Choir and Rifleman in said area then drags in the Reckoner.
MacBain! moves a few mill to get out of Rezniks control and be just in 6" of the Galleon. Jackhammers four times to get the Reckoner killed.
Assassins clear out the last Halbs.
TAC advance, throw Firebombs at the Objective and do half it's health.
Alexia moves around, drops three Thralls (Sylyss and one TAC as proxies), two of them charge in and finish off the Objective.
Mercs get to 5.
Mercs on the right.
Back to the wheelhouse! Much less brain spasms that time, though still a few there. If anyone can let the Galleon live the drag dream, it's Menoth.
