That was a damn good tourney.
I continue my glorious 2-2 record, I'm consistent at least.
My Lists:
I've now realised that I do just love running that Gorten list, I don't think there is anything I'd want to change in it.
Durgen though......blergh. I'll try a game or two with Pressgangers instead of Steelheads, but maybe I need to do a 180 and try some whacky stuff to see if I can get a better handle on it.
Double Colossals:
Four rounds, twice double Colossal was dropped into me. I think the basis for that is people see the Earthbreaker in each list and discount its melee ability and Gortens control value. I can happily say now that I am comfotable in that style of matchup.
ADR:
Three of my four opponents were using ADR. I'm sure that was just a weird skew for me, though I could be wrong.
Round one Syntherion could have dropped an Axiom for some Ciphers, but that doesn't really bother me, the only thing that could have scared me would have been Mitigators, though that is a specific Gorten fear.
Colin with the Witch Coven reckons his list allready skews so far that ADR doesn't really change it, Cryx into Mercs seems like a broadly safe bet anyway.
Toms Trolls lists defy my comprehension.
