Normal Timed turns (10 minutes, one extension)
Midas - 2x War Hogs (One deceased), 2x Road Hogs, Targ, 2x Slaughterhousers, 3x Bone Grinders (One max, two min)
Game One
Outflank (Two Neutral Zones)
uButcher + 2x Argus - Juggernaught, War Dog, pAlexia, Widowmakers, Saxon, Great Bears, Aiyanna + Holt, eEiryss, 2x Eliminators, IFP Kovnik, Black Dragons Max + UA, Orin Midwinter
One Proxy: Silly Wishnailer as Orin Midwinter
Khador Deploy (Pic after some opening moves). I won the die roll and picked second.
Farrow Deployment with Advance Moves.
Khador turn 1 - Stuff runs! Silence of Death goes on the Black Dragons.
Farrow turn 1 - Things move up. Road Hogs kill and Eliminator and Eiryss. Woo!
Khador turn 2 - Butcher charges up, draws the heavies in, kills all three and a Slaughterhouser but after feat sits on two Focus. Everything else runs up and tries to jam in. Orin casts Null Sorcery and sits in the back field.
Farrow turn 2 - Slaughterhousers RaBo's clear off the Great Bear that ran to Midas. Midas moves in, can't cast because of Orin. Doh. Feats Beasts back in, Fire kills War Dog, Heavies then slap Butcher down to six health. Eliminator blocking right unit of Slaughterhousers survives a Rabo attack, only one Slaughterhouser gets to Butcher and snake eyes.
Khador turn 3 - Stuff moves up, Butcher finally activates and cuts Midas down.
Erk. I didn't even register that Orin had cast null field, was very sad. Should have had Midas move the inch required away from the Null Field, boost a Cursed Calamity at Butcher, Battle Lust the Slaughterhousers and feat back everything, casting Massacre on one the resurrected War Hogs. Then commence the killing, Road Hogs going for the Dog then the War Hogs going in.
Player Grading
Time Management: 10, no issues with the clock in any way.
Scenario Awareness: 6, knew it was there but wasn't going to be very relevant.
Spacing and Placement: 4, wanted to sucker Butcher in but should have held War Hog back and just lost the Road Hogs. Living War Hog would have been a huge difference.
Target Priority: 7, picked correctly for the most part, getting Eiryss and Eliminator early was fun.
Effectiveness: 7, Maths usually reasonable, spacing was the issue not the dice math.
Cool: 7, forgetting Orin wrong footed me, but recovered to do the best plan that was possible from that point.
Grade:Mid B (41)
Between games I had an incident of people picking my stuff up to look at. Small time stuff, but God it annoyed me and put me on tilt. Its an old boundary from my 40K days, which I'm surprised came up at all. Next game was sad times.
Game Two
Close Quarters (Two Aligned Flags)
pLylth -Typhon, Shredder, Raek, Black Frost Shard, Ogrun Warspears + UA, Hex Hunters (Max) + Bayal, 2x Shepherds, 6x Incubi, 2x Strider Deathstalkers
Legion won the die roll, picked first. Hill on the right, forest on the left.
Farrow deployment Pic missed.
Legion turn 1 - Pic Missed, everything runs up.
Farrow turn 1 - Road Hogs moved up, killing a Hex Hunter and hurt Tyhpon a little bit. Everything moves up.
Legion turn 2 - Pic Missed, right Bone Grinders get shot up, Lylth moves up to Parasite a Road Hog while another gets kissed by the Shard, both then get killed by the Ogrun and Hex Hunters.
Farrow turn 2 - Stuff moves around, Midas curses the Slaughterhosuers to get a charge into the right spot, boosted Hex Blast gets Lylth, knocking off Tenacity and shunting 10 damage to the Shredder. Resurrects stuff, puts Massacre on both Road Hogs, who charge Lylth. One hits, sets her on fire, does some damage.
Legion turn 3 - Lylth shoots and parasites Midas, Raek jumps in for the kill.
Player Grading
Time Management: 8, no issues with time but didn't ever have a plan to enact.
Scenario Awareness: 5, didn't have much interaction with the scenario, opponent definitely in a better place for both attrition and scoring.
Spacing and Placement: 3, had RaBo's and Grinders blocking up the Slaughterhousers, should have only lost one Road Hog to get the Ogrun in, not two.
Target Priority: 1, spent attacks on Lylth, should have been killing the Ogrun/Ravagore.
Effectiveness: 3, took long shots.
Cool: 3, unfocused and on tilt from unrelated stuff.
Grade: High D (23)
Still struggling to think of a gameplan. Only rough idea is to run Heavies to the right with RaBo's in base to base in front to take on the AD Dude swarm, War Hog running behind to take on Typhon when relevant. Left Grinders to run up then Arcane Bolt the Shard or Ogrun, leave Slaughterhousers somewhat behind to counter charge afterward, threat of Ogrun Assault shots problematic though. Hold onto feat long as possible, hopefully which a proper piece exchange, as Lyltth can't take hits.
