Got out to the latest LGS to hit Australia's centre of triplicate paperwork, named Jolt. Not likely I'll get there very often, in City SPatial terms applied to a world map I live in Antarctica and the store is somewhere in Siberia (So not the furthest possible distance, but still awkwardly far. There are definitely drunk Russians and Superpowers involved naturally).
I'm sticking with Durgen, cause resolutions and stuff.

Rob dropping friendles, it's Goreshade 2 non-tier! (Alternative name: WHERE ARE THE BANES?!)
This list constructed with the help of Warroom. It takes more than long enough to load for me to remember on my own that weird-scythy-centaur-skeleton dudes are called Soulhunters.
eGoreshade - Arcnode of some Bitey attack type, Bane Cav, Soulhunters (Min), Darrel Wrathe, 2x Necrosurgeon + Stitchthralls, 2x Mechanithralls with Brutes, Satyxis Raiders + Witch, Satyxis Raider Captain, 9x Explode solo for feat

Merc deploy: It took three rolls, but when I won I picked first.
Cryx deploy: The arcnode is a proxy of a different Bone Chicken.
Merc 1: Onward! Primed on Nyss, Redlined on the Earthbreaker. I moved the collosal far away from the Feedback of death group, not sure if that was the right call or not really.
Cryx 1: A horde to stir your undead heart to a single solitary beat. Goreshade puts Occultation on teh Cav.
Merc 2: Spells upkept, it's feat boom boom turn. I overestimate my chances, so Nyss fail to pop the Raider Captain hiding up the back. I blow up some Mechanithralls and put up Inhospitable Ground.
Cryx 2: Goreshade moves Occultation to himself, Hexblasts Primed off the Nyss. Half the Nyss die to charging Cav/Mechthralls/Satyxis.
Merc 3: Redline Drops. Earthbreaker dismounts Darrel after missing with it's torpedoes. Risen gloriously charge into the cav and proceed to still have stats of suckitude. Gun Mages/Eiryss ping a Satyxxis. TAC charge and do nothing. Durgen Inhospitables once again.
Thor should have boosted attack rolls instead of damage....
Cryx 3: Goreshade keeps Occultating himself, goes behind a wall and throws Curse of Shadows on the Earthbraker. He feats, the infantry blob fills up what feels like half the board....
TAC and nearly all the Nyss die. A Satyxis gets into melee range of Durgen. A Soulhunter charges and kills Thor. the Arcnode kills Cyclena.
Fortunately I've misused Thor loads of time, I have experience in teh Earthbreaker not having the boost.
Merc 4: Earthbreaker gets two, kills Darrel, the cortex on the Arcnode and a Bane Cav. Durgen moves back, the Freestrike does a damage point. He Primes the Gun Mages and shoots into the sea of models, killing a few Mechthralls and a Necrosurgeon. Alexia and the Risen kill the anti-Thor Soulhunter. Eiryss knocks off Curse of Shadows.
Cryx 4: Occultation stays. Goreshade moves out, Curse of Shadows again. The Cav kill all the Risen but one, Alexia and the Objective. The Blob finally finishes off the last Nyss and do some damage to the Earthbreaker. The Gun Mages get missed a lot of times, but the one hit triggers Primed to get three off the table.
Merc 5: Do or die time, Durgen moves over, pops a Bane Knight. Earthbreaker moves up to shoot Goreshade, is an inch short of breaking stealth. I needed to use Dougal to polish off another Bane Knight to get space, but overestimated the placements involved.
Cryx 5: cav charge and Curse Durgen, easily pummel him into dust.
Three games is enough for list changes I think. Dropping Sylyss and pAlexia at the very least, current additions are liable to be Steelhead Halberdiers and Reinholdt.
