Game 209 - Win - eMagnus vs 3Vlad

No Clock, Balance of Power

eMagnus Tier 4 Bad Seeds - Defender, Renegade, 2x Nomads, Rangers, Sword Knights (Max) + UA + Nomad, Sword Knights (Max), Saxon, Kell, Orin

3Vlad Tier 4 -Drago, Fenris, Kovnik Markov, 2x Max Uhlans, Greylord Ponies, 2x Drakhun (No Dismount)


Won the die roll! Picked first. Snapjaw proxying for the Jack Marshalled Nomad. Kell on extreme left.


Horse Block!


Merc 1: Bullet Dodger, Mobility, Magnus charge as standard. Everything else runs up as necessary.


Khador 1: Horses charge up and spread out. Infernal Machine and Hand of Fate go out.


Merc 2: Sword Knights ambush from the right, couple of the frozen horses get killed. Jackmarshalled Nomad charges a Drakhun, puts him down to two health. Magnus walks up, feats, shotgun a Drakhun to death. Traditional Board Edges selected. Rangers and Nomads spread out a bit to block the zone. Orin Null Magics. Renegade and Defender put Vlad on one health.


Khador 2: Vlad and co run to the far left. Mercs go to 2 CP.



Merc 3: Knights kill the Greylord Ponies, Nomads kill Drago, Magnus runs to the far corner of the zone. Defender misses Vlad by one.

Mercs go to 4 CP.


Khador 3: Vlad feats, stuff crams in as much as possible. All Nomads get trashed up.


Merc 4: Knights and Nomads finish off the requisite two Uhlans and Fenris.

Player Grading
Time Management: 7, moved at a reasonable rate, but not confident of being superior in a clocked environment.
Scenario Awareness: 10, did the right things.
Spacing and Placement: 8, could have shielded the zone somewhat better, more success from opponent placing that derived from my play.
Target Priority: 8, hurt Vlad badly early, got Drago and zoned models appropriately.
Effectiveness: 6, workable dice math used.
