Game 176/7 - Wins - Bart vs Rhyas/Xerxis

Rhyas (Rearguard Tier 4) - Typhon. Scythean, Shredder, Ogrun Warspears + UA, Ogrun Warmongers, Nyss Swordsman + UA, 2x Shepherd, Warmonger War Chief, Succubus

Early game: Mercs win die roll, I pick first. Second turn shots kill several War Spears including the UA, the Succubus and drags in the Scythean. Bart feats and charges up.

Rhyas feats and goes for an assassination run with the Scythean, which fails (Bart takes about 6). A Shepherd also runs up for increased Forcing.

Snapjaw kills the Scythean. Galleon kills the Shredder, hurts Rhyas and Typhon, then drags the Beast in. Kayazy finish off Typhon.

Legion response is to ding the Galleon a little bit, Rhyas kills a Kayazy and sprint over to the offensive flag.

Spacing and Placement: 8, did extremely comfortable piece trade.
Target Priority: 6, rightly picked on the beasts but wasted some attacks being flung at Rhyas.
Effectiveness: 8, reasonable dice math used.

I won the roll, picked first again. Galleon toes contest distance for the middle flag. Lucky rolls hurt the Shaman somewhat.

Skorne slowly advance.

Bart Feats, Galleon kills Market. Shots don't do much to the centre Skorne block.

Left flag cleared up, Bart starts moving around.

Mercs go to 1 CP.

Endgame, Xerxis feats, Galleon goes to 5 health. Nomad loses left arm and movement. Snapjaw hurts but fails to kill Tiberion.

Barts runs to the flag.

Mercs go to 3 CP.


Endgame state Pic. Tiberion kills Galleon. Xerxis kill Snapjaw, Cetrati run through him, three get in distance to contest flag.

Skorne go to 1 CP in their turn.

Merc turn is all surviving Elements killing the three Cetrati, go to 5 CP.

Spacing and Placement: 6, effectively counter deployed but ran as appropriate to handle it early game.
Target Priority:4, wasted many of Galleons attacks on the Cetrati/Tiberion block. Should have focused on scattering onto Gobbers.
Effectiveness: 5, poor decisions with Galleon shots.
Cool: 9, under pressure but played through it.
