Game 112 & 3 - Loss/Win - eVlad vs eSorscha then pMorghoul

Results: Loss and a Win
72- 40 - 1

These games were list testing for the upcoming 35pt Tournament. Both times I used the same eVlad list (Other list choice being Karchev with Clam Jacks)

eVlad - Drago, Assassins (Max) + UA, WGRC, Joe, Wardog, Drakhun, Doom Reavers

Based on these games, eVlads chances of making the cut dropped dramatically.

Game 1

35 pt Balance of Power

eSorscha - Behemoth, WGI (Max) + UA, Widowmakers, Alexia and the Risen, Aiyana + Holt, Ragman, eEiryss

Game Recount: I am the Loyalists because rebelling against yourself is weird.

I lost the dice roll, opponent picked first. Aiyana, Holt, Ragman and Sorscha are next to Behemoth. eEiryss hidden behind the building on the left.

Doomies in two ranks to keep out of range of the Widowmakers.

Rebel Turn 1: Shatterstorm goes on the Widows, Iron Flesh goes on the WGI. Alexia crafts a Thrall.

Loyalist Turn 1: Everything moves up. WGRC put down Covering Fire. Vlad puts Hand of Fate on the WGRC and Transference on himself.

Strategy Error: I didn't have one. I really didn't. Early casualties after this turn would make life extremely difficult. In hindsight the Deathstar and Widows needed to be stopped early. Vlad should have activated, feated on the Doomreavers, cast Hand of Fate on the WGRC. Joe gives WGRC boosted attack rolls. WGRC then move up as far as possible, bunching up if necessary to get shots on the Widowmakers as priority and the WGI as secondary. Defence 18 on the widows, 13's to hit, not great but possible. Doomreavers then run 18 to engage surviving Widows/WGI. Kayazy run after them. Alexia flank gets ignored for now out of Necessity, turn after Kayazy mini-feat and get as many support models as possible starting with WGI officer. Drakhun still gets Eiryss, then goes for Alexia.

Mid Rebel turn 2: Eiryss moves around the building, keeping out of Countercharge range to shoot a Doomreaver. A Risen moves up, triggers Countercharge. Mount attacks kills the Risen, redirected charge attack hits and kills Eiyrss.

Rebel turn 2: Everything Upkept, Shatterstorm Widows kill three of the WGRC, various attacks kill off all the Doomies. Behemoth bombards get a couple Kayazy.

Loyalist turn 2: Feat goes off, getting Drakhun and a few of the Kayazy. Kayazy mini feat, charge up and clear out several Risen. Drakhun charges and kills Alexia. WGRC kill a widowmaker and a WGI, boosted attack rolls be damned! Drago runs up to look cool.

Rebel turn 3: Sorscha feats, Behemoth kills Drakhun, Kayazy and most of the WGRC disintegrate. Drago kissed and host to death.

Tactical error: Had no reason to waste Drago. Given Behemoth would have to go for him or Drakhun, should have run him into the WGI.

Loyalist turn 4: WGRC kill a WGI, Vlad casts Martial Paragon and charges in, wardog in tow. Kayazy kill Ragman and the Thrall, engage the WGI.

Mid Rebel turn 4: Aiyana and Holt move up, Wardog Countercharges, kills Aiyana! Returns to Vlad.

Rebel turn 4: Sorcha uses Freezing Grip on Kayazy, making them stationary. WGI kill Kayazy and swarm around Vlad. Behemoth moves around, does some bombards that do nothing to the last WGRC.

Loyalist turn 4: Vlad upkeeps Martial Paragon, runs around to get toward Sorscha. Joe is sadly just out of melee range. Vlad Razor Winds at Sorscha for a desperate assassination, misses, camps remaining three focus.

Tactical Error: Should have camped instead of Razor Wind. All in on one plan, not half on two.
Tactical Error: Should have engaged rear arcs of WGI. Either they move and get free struck or Behemoth doesn't get in.

Rebel turn 5: Vlad gets shot, Sorscha moves in to Boundless charge Behemoth. Vlad misses with his free attack ability. Behemoth splats Vlad.

End Amount: 4. Extra penalty for how bad that strategic error was. ALWAYS HAVE PLAN.

Game 2

Adams most powerful super sweet Morghoul list (And he never forgot his models again....maybe?)

pMorghoul - Bronzeback, Titan Sentry, 2x Cyclop Savages, Nihilators, Ancestral Guardian.

Skorne wins roll, goes first.

Counter deploy.

Skorne and Khador turn 1: Spells go up and both sides move up. WGRC lay down Covering Fire.

Skorne turn 2: Abused Bronzeback charges forward, most of the Doomies die. Two let in the centre.

Khador turn 2: Spells upkept. Vlad feats, getting the Drakhun, a Doomreaver, a Kayazy and the underboss to pass the Abomination check the Doomies are going to set off. Joe moves up, gives boosted attack rolls, shoots Bronzeback. Triggers Hyper aggressive, Bronzeback moves towards him. WGRC move, first one triggers Admonition on Bronzeback, which moves in and ties up some WGRC. The rest move around, shoot Morghoul down to two health. Drakhun, Doomies and Kayazy kill the Cyclops and a few Nihilators.

Skorne turn 3: Pic missed. Bronzeback frenzied and killed a WGRC. Morghoul fell back, Nihilators tried to kill some stuff, Ancestral Guardian gets a Kayazy I think. Sentry does little.

Khador turn 3: Kayazy mini feat, wipe out most of the Nihilators. Drakhun charges Ancestral Guardian, injures him a little. WGRC move up and do little. Drago charges Bronzeback, hurts it somewhat. I misapplied Transference here, so damage was taken off out of fairness.

I forget to activate Vlad.

Strategy Error: The early damage on Morghoul made me lose sight of trying anything else. I should have remembered the rule of versing hordes, to kill the Beasts. Kayazy could have tied up the Sentry while Drago kills the Bronzy then ran back, and then Vlad should have moved to the corner of the Zone to threaten Scenario and baited Morghoul out.
Tactical Error: Drago should have got a full load out of Focus to kill the Bronzeback.
Tactical Error: DID NOT ACTIVATE MY BOODY CASTER
Rule Error: Transference doesn't apply to non-Warrior models. Moron.

Skorne turn 4: Pic missed. Morghoul kills a stack of Kayazy, gets to the centre of the zone. Bronzeback kills a WGRC. Sentry does some wild swings.

Khador turn 4: Vlad charges Morghoul. Misses, camps stack. Drakhun toughs out the Nihilator, Kayazy kill Ancestral Guardian. WGRC do nothing.

Skorne turn 4: Beasts do little, Morghoul kills most of the WGRC and runs off.

Khador turn 5: Joe gives boosted attack rolls to the WGRC, shoots Morghoul. Transfers. WGRC shoot Morghoul. Cause one transfer. Vlad walks over, does two boosted to hit Razor winds, both hit causing last transfer and hit points to go away.

Summary: 5.5 Better than the first game of the night at least.
