Game 377 - Barny2 (BD) vs Iona1 (TDH)

It's super weird that mobile games advertise themselves as being super addictive. I really blipped on when that was meant to be a selling point rather than a sign that the thing is flat out dangerous and should be avoided. I get more random thoughts about advertising than I realised.
Barny2 having another hack and slash against Iona. Starting to ponder that Barny2 is probably jsut a distraction until Mire arrives and Jaga gets another shot.
Planned to go to another tourney on the weekend that didn't work out. Sigh. Number of games is not going great right now.
I get first, Circle get a side with a defensive wall/fog/forest deal.

Round 1: Stuff runs at each other, we both forget our Prey options. Woops.
Vault anchors out the left for anti ambush tech again. Croaks run around the place. Onslaught is up, mostly for giggles/habit at this point. Bone Swarms run up in his vicinity at this point.
Leading Goat beast has Sure Foot on him, just to be annoying.
The super solos on foot both run way up the board, killing a Croak on the left and engaging the Totem Hunter on the right.

Minion 2: Plan is to just jink around and not trigger Vengeance.
Out left the Vault shoots down a Gallows Grove,on the right the Blindwalker pops animus to let Rebuke get channeled on the right side Ravagers.
The two engaging super solos take far mroe work than they should.
Right one pops to a Shambler CMA, unfortuantely there isn't a good spot for the Totem Hunter to charge in and get a free kill, so he just runs to the right board edge to absorb some ambusher attention.
Out left, the shambler CMA in the back fails to do enough damage, so a Boneswarm goes in. Misses it's boosted initial, so has to buy and boost to get the job done.
Barny chills at the edge of the centre zone, camps 1 with Execretion and Spiny Growth up.
The front Croak unit sends 4 dudes in with a Bone Shaker into the goat. Didn't account for set defence, they need 10's to hit. It doesn't go well, predictably none of them hit.

Circle 2: Sure enough, ambushers pop out.
Out left the Ravagers run up to the left rectangle zone, form a wall of contesting.
Centrally Iona pops feat and dances around the mexican hat, if the hat was a goat and the dancing involved shanking Croak Raiders then sprinting back.
Rightwise the Wold Ridey dudes kill the objective and repo back, the Goat comes forward to finish clearing out the contesting shamblers and pops his dodge animus.
The ambushers punch in, they kill the Totem Hunter and some more shamblers.
Circle score the right zone, score is 0-2.

Minion 3: Alright, that wasn't nice at all! Now to return the grind.
Out left the Sacral Vault is a hero, killing both the ravager Shaman and Ravager officer.
The blue Croaks left on that side charge the end Ravagers that are outside the feat buff, kill the pair of them.
Shamblers charge in, they kill another Ravager, sadly they bounce off the grunt contesting the centre zone.
Bone Swarm in this vicinity edges into both zones and pops Swarm.
Centrally, one of Barny's Bone Shakers chargers that contesting Ravager and manages to get it done.
The remaining two yellow Croaks take some lols shots at the Stalker, oiling but not setting him on fire. Doh.
Barny himself charges over to the right after Shamblers block in the Goat. I'd hoped to only need a few attacks, alas Barny has to spend down two much so he feats away Shamblers to get his Fury back up, ends up camping 5 with Exectretion and Spiny up. A Bone swarm moves in front of him and pops Swarm up.
Right side, the Haruspex and a few of the ambushers get killed, though ultiamtely the Bokor is in a bad spot and is going to die for cheap.
The Blind walker runs to the right side of the rectangle for contestingness.
I score the central zone, now 1-2.

Circle 3: As the master of time management something something time has passed.
Left side remaining pair of Ravagers munch through the available Croaks and Shamblers.
The Stalker goes into the Boneswarm, Swarm and Execretion finally have an effect, the oversized furry lands some hits yet doesn't kill and is stuck out in non-Sprint land. Woot.
Right Ravagers come into the centre and right zone, they kill yet more Shamblers.
Wolf Champy man kills the right side Bokor. Sad days indeed.
Fortunately there aren't enough attacks to do to much on the Blind Walker, so it hangs around contesting.

Minion 4: Out left the Vault and Gobber Chef kill the objective and contesting Ravager, so living the high life.
Right wise, one Pot drags the Ravager UA forward, letting a Boneswarm go in and kill him. Sod your Vengeance. The other Pot tries to drag in the Ravager Shaman, alas rolls low on both drag and damage so that doesn't achieve much.
The Shamblers and Bone Shakers engage Ravagers and the Warpwolf Stalker.
Last activation, Barny charges across the circle zone to kill the Warpwolf. 6's to hit, dice plus 1 on damage, figure should be easy to kill him and camp 3 or so.
OR.....or......or.....it could go horribly wrong. Barny's now engaging a heavy, so after the first few attacks miss just have to commit. Barny burns all his fury to kill the opposing heavy. This looks like it's about to go very bad.

Circle 4: None of the Ravagers can make it in, so Iona pushes her sleeves up. She charges in, overtakes through a few Shamblers and starts stabbing Barny.
Barny lives the dream, survives with four odd boxes.
It's assumed Iona then dies horribly.
The thing about the Vault working out on one side is that it means the other flank can then set up to counter the efficacy of the ambushing unit. Unless you basically throw a Totem hunter away and stuff. Should have had a Bullsnapper/Boneswarm on the side for some boosted attacks.
Silliest thing was definitely roaks charging the goat early on, waste of models that weren't going to do anything.
Barny eyeball still somewhat tragic. Letting this Lusitania sink for a bit, BLoB is good yet feels like the work required to get gud with him might not have sufficient pay off.
