Game 323 - Test - Thagrosh1 (PT) vs Thorle1 (BoO)
Epic Pit
So the current hotness has hit the locality. BLIGHTED OGRUN FOR DAYZ.
A local expressed interest in trying it out and I haven't worked out my Cygnar stuff, so behold Proxy Hell.
Laziness compells me to act, which doesn't sound right. Anyway I just kept the Minions in the bag and slapped labels everywhere.
Ripped off the Dingaling list, it mauled me so it must be broken.
Thag1, Blightbringer, Golab, trip melee Ogrun, Hellmouths
vs
Bradigus with a pair of Ram Hands, Sentry/Shifting stones, stack of Woldwatchers
Running this as a test game, so to attempt to simulate competence I did some takebacks and position shuffles that I wouldn't normally do.
I won the roll, took first to get up the board. Both sides have good forests for Hellmouth placements, so it's all good. There's also a wonky shaped obstruction in the centre of the board.
So...Posse are melee Ogrun, Huge base is Blightbringer, Skarath is Gol.....ag? Anamag's flying beast whose name is one letter off being a UA's name. Weird things are Hellmouths.

Legion 1: My stuff runs forward, Bradigus has deployed to push hard on the right.
I've got my left hellmouth further back than is probably optimal, hiding behind a wall. Right Hellmouth is further up behind a forest.
Tentacles move out to blocking positions.
I've got the two regular units going on the left, the singular unit with UA on the right.
Golag leads out in front of hte Blightbringer, Thags put the strength buff on the UA'd unit.

Circle 1: Synergy is up, the world trembles in shock and horror. Or at least I do, I sodding hate that spell.
Circle stuff moves up a short way, things keeping away from the Hellmouths. Attempts to kill Tentacles on the right go really badly in a sad way, a pair of tentacles surviving when they had no right to. Impervious Flesh is rule. Why is it a rule? What sins did we commit?

Legion 2:So...I *may* (i.e. definitely did) screw up and completely failed to remember that the tentacle that died in front of Golag became a forest, not a cloud. Um....test game! We played it like the Tentacle was never there! Saved!
Wait.....
*Looks up rules*
Sigh. It's GolaBBBBBBB. Dangit. And he doesn't have Eyeless Sight. What is even happening.
Anyway, it's time to just run dudes up ready to do scenario/kill stuff in my next turn.
Blightbringer lobs a shot at a Ram Hands, that gets Shield Guarded to another Ram hands. This saves the Wayfarer from blast damage, however the ultimate goal was to assist Golab so I wasn't super concerned.
Thags puts his strength buff on Golab, who charges a watcher in front of Bradigus. Said watcher also took a single damage point from the BB's shot, so Finisher is proced and the light warbeast basically explodes. Those two strength buffs were not necessary at all. Golab sprints back to the other side of the obstruction.
Ogrun run forward, a single smuck from the left and right unit both go forward enough to engage, though really they are just there to force the Vengeance trigger.
Gorags unit moves to far forward on the right, back Ogrun should have stayed within the BB aura. Oh well.
Rightside tentacles eat both a Gallows Grove and one of the Shifting Stones.

Circle 2: At some point Brad feats this turn, though only after multple activations to clear out Tentacles and the forward ogrun.
Left zone things just move to contest, centrally a ram hands gets stranded up their after killing some ogrun and failing to get to Golab. Rightwise all the Tentacles die and multiple of the Watches get into Gorag's unit, leaving three of the alive including G-bro himself. There was insufficient weight of attacks to pop the objective, which gets left on 7 health. Not loving this multiple Wold Watcher build at this point.

Legion 3: BB shoots the opposing objective, centering an AoE that buffs the Ogrun unit that swarms up, killing the objective, Grove and Sentry Stone.
Golab kills a Ram hands, Sprints to toe the left zone.
Right wise Ogrun kill a pair of Woldwatchers, the spawned Tentacle stabs a backward watcher that didn't put up Earth's Blessing, dragging him into the other watchers outside of Bradigus' control area.
I score the left zone and the objective, so go up 2-0.

Circle 3: Feralgeist runs to toe the left zone, Brad and various watchers clear the centre zone, right wise the zone gets cleared by watchers meleeing. Hellmouth scratches itself, pondering the meaning of life.
Circle score the centre and right zone, so we go to 2 all.

Legion 4: We're off the clock by now, I just need to grind out, soon the left zone won't be contestable and I can just rely on a round 7 win.
Left wise, ogrun start running across toward the centre zone around the obstruction. Golab sits there to score.
BB shoots a ram hands, blast kills the Wayfarer. Also toes the centre zone.
Right wise, Gorag and a tentacle go into the Sentry Stone, alas they leave it on a box.
I score the left, 3-2.

Circle 4/Legion 4.5: The last Ram Hand beats his way across to toe the left zone, Bradigus moves up to attempt to clear the zone with gun shots, not accounting for the BB. it doesn't work. Right zone does get cleared.
We tie up 3 all, the only beast not full on fury available is the Ram hands so Golab kills it then BB eats Bradigus.
I could definitely improve my positioning, regardless Brad Woldwatchers didn't feel like it was going to have much of a chance. Cue ominous noies. OMINOUS I SAY.
