MK2 Breakdown.

Alright, time for some random pie charts and junk!

I played 440 games in Mk 2, might get another couple in but it won't be a meaningful amount.

Originally I was going to spew this junk out at the 500 mark, but oh well.

Point Levels

No real shocks here, got my start on 25 point games and went up from their. The 15 points games are strictly for when Leagues had a "play every point level" goal, the 42 pointers was because that was the Sunday tourney instead of a Who's the Boss when the Masters finals were on at one Wintercon.

Game Types

I thought Slams would be higher, but likely that's just a perception from the last few years. If the current trend goes for MK 3 I'd expect "Slams" and the nebulous category of "other" would be equal, with Tourneys again being at most 20%.

SR 2015 Scenario Count

A wonky table at best, I started playing SR packets so scenarios that carried across have an inflated number. In that view Recon isn't doing to bad.

Factions Played

Genuinely surprised the Minions games didn't overtake Khador, my first faction that I've played squat all of for a couple years.

Most Frequently Used Casters (Top 10)

I'm sure that Gorten there is a real shock. He always had the lead, even before the OTC practice gave him a hand. Bart is so high because I was consumed by sussness and wanted a non-Fiona non-Durgen Cryx drop. Eventually Rob bought me the explodey dwarf so I could run out of excuses, for which he was absolutely right on what to play.

Factions Opposed

The Khador and Skorne numbers fit the perception of the Canberra meta in my head. Genuinely surprised Cryx is that high, thought it'd be third or fourth.
I find it saddening that Convergence is higher than Minions. Alas poor Piggy Gators, your future will be brighter I hope.

Spurious data really, given the sample size versus the amount of casters in the game. Up until a few months ago pMakeda was actually ahead, but a few games in OTC practice bumped Butcher 3 ahead. Pretty good for a newer caster.
Ashlynn is a legacy of my early days against one of the mates I learnt to play with, it's where I getmy principle instinct response of "She sucks" (Feat turn power up! Yeah! Shit, I'm knocked down. I'm dead.)

Other random junk:

My favourite games year by year!

2012 - Karchev vs Timeos' pSorscha
My first Mk 2 game, wherein I'd read the rulebooks a couple times in the week proceeding but had a 40k mindset still. Tim gently corrected me when I rolled command checks for my units to do the Shield Wall order (IT FELT RIGHT AT THE TIME!). The actual game here is meaningless, more important was Tim made me feel like coming back the week after (Chappy as well, but he got the second game. My original notes had that as "Karchev vs Weird Assassin dude", it is only now that I can appreciate he was okay to play the terrible matchup of eMorghoul into Karchev. Hindsight on that warlock assassination run on Karchev with anatomical Precision was hilarious. It didn't work.)

2013 - eMagnus vs himself, with the Badge Vest Guy
Definitely not about the gameplay here, just a memorable moment. I know I haven't seen Haidos play Magnus since. He moved. I moved. He feated. I feated. Epic Eiryss Arcane Interferenced both our battlegroups the whole game because I couldn't kill her. Game result was one dead Buccaneer to my Kayazy and a concession before they could charge Haidos' Magnus after the feat fest.

2014 - Karchev vs Moopsicles eAbby
Only time I've ever made a list that instantly clicked and didn't need a single change. Also the first time I won a proper Slam.
Obviously on a break from ye old Circle, Moopadon tried out Abby with the Archangel. He also learnt the most meaningless trivia (Unearthly Rage gives magical weapons! Take that contesting Feralgeist!).
Playing on Outflank, which I think has consistently produced the most interesting games for me, essentially Karchev ran around while Black Ivan Crit Brutal Damaged the world. Marvelous.

2015 - Arkadius vs Claws of Edragon.
A random late Monday game where I'd consumed enough sugar to melt my internal organs.
Beasts would charge in, kill stuff. Counterattack would beat the hell out of them. They'd heal and kill a bit. Remainng stuff would knock them down in health again. They heal back a bit.It was Pschosurgery for an eternity. Butcher eventually tired of the shenanigans, going to finish off my lagging War Hogs. My last heavy, a brutalized Road Hog, watched Arkadius Stationary him before limping over and murdering the Khadoran lunatic.

2016 - Gorten into Elmin's fair and balanced Haley
Clash of Titans game, so not long ago. A brutal game where I became blind to Stormpods and added about seven turns of Gorten and a Gun Mage man moding the world.
