Specialists - Tinker, Bokur, Rockbottom, Kayazy Assassins + UA, Devil's Shadow Mutineers
Objective - Effigy of Valor

Round 2 wintercon, No-Longer-P-Diddy rocking the CoC on Fire Support.

Lucant and Axis ADR, I defaulted to Gorten, in general I've found the Clock nutjobs aren't really fast enough to handle his feat messing up their game plan.

Lucant - Axiom, Dong-inator, Corrolary, Diffuser, 2x Obstructors, 2x Soul sucking robot factory things (The names just don't stick)
Objective: Bunker

Only ADR was trading Reinholdt for the Tinker.

Merc Deploy: Anastasia pays off as I win the roll, I pick first so that I can deny as much board space as possible. If the Axiom doesn't get near my flag I push scenario, otherwise I Black Oil it and wait for the Earth Breaker to kill everything off.

CoC Deploy: The rise of the Purple CoC! Engineers are hiding behind the Axiom.

Merc 1: Everything runs up, Bunker is unfortuante as it protects the CoC objective from my easy kill with the Breaker. Gun Mages go on  he far right anyway, intending to thunderbolt things away from the enemy flag if needed.

Solid Ground/Strength of Granite thrown up. Madelyn hides behind the semi-convenient forest near my DZ.

CoC 1: The Clockies run up, Lucant casts Deflection and Watcher. A Servitor gets dropped.

Merc 2: Spells upkept, Press Gangers jam forward, one Smurf dies to Watcher as the Dong-inator overkills, they pop a pointless Obstructor on the right side to give the Factory behind them something to do and kill the Servitor.
The mini-forest becomes the favourite hide out for the usual cast of Merc villains (Anastasia, Gorman, Hawk, Madelyn, Alexia).
Everythings runs up in relatively same positions.

This turn I realised I'd left Thor on the side of the table, I was content for him to stay there but Patrick was extremely generous and said he could appear on the back board edge, from which he sprinted forward to catch up on his stubby legs.

CoC 2: Axiom gets Proxied for the wreck marker, in hindsight I should have grabbed out my Galleon base to keep arcs, but didn't think of it at the time alas.
Lucant feats and moves forward, screams COME AT ME BRO.

Both Obstructor units shield and do two man CMA's on Press Gangers, the Smurfs on the right suffer much worse than the apparently luckier at the moment Commies on the left.

Merc 3: Sadly Patrick has been sensible and put the Axiom in contest range of my flag. Foiled by reasonable play....
I consider the assassination run on Lucant. I can drag him across to the right, if the Earthbreaker gets in its four attacks with boosted damage at minus 4. By my eyeball the Earbreaker is likely not in, so rather than risk it I go for the looooooooooooooog play.
Gorten Madelyns forward, then moves up and feat on everything but the left Obstructors and the Robot factories, then plonks down a wall. The Press Gangers jam up, Risen surround Lucant and Gorman blinds the Axiom/Lucant after Anastasia Esponiages to get two throws from the not-broken alchemist.
The Earthbreaker knocks down all bar one Obstructors on the right. Alexia is sure to be within command of Lucant.

CoC 3: The Obstructors again churn against Press Gangers, during reasonably well. Axiom punches some blind Risen to death, Lucant falls back somewhat. A pair of Engineers run up to get in the way, engaging a Gun Mage.

Merc 4: Drop Solid Ground/Wall, keep Granite going, Earthbreaker gets fueled up to the gills.
Esponiage goes again, but sadly the Earthbreaker misses a torpedo shot that would have decimated the right Obstructor unit. The gun mages clear off most of them with their double activation, but sadly fall short so the robot baby factories are full up. Gorman blinds a pair of Risen to get Lucant, Axiom and the Dong-inator with the sticky stuff.
Earthbreaker charges the Dong-inator, kills it with ease. Gorten runs behind it, Tinker blocks LoS to him.

CoC 4/Merc 5/CoC 5: Under 15 minutes at this point, so this is the end of game shot.
The right Obstructors return, but fail to do much to the Earthbreaker. The Axiom powerstrikes a Servitor to finally pop Gorman. Lucant starts stabbing away, Alexia being enough of a disincentive to stop casting spells.
My last turn sees my third Esponiage, which allows the Earthbreaker to fire a blast shot out of activation to again remove the Obstructors. The Gun Mages finish the unit off this time, the Breaker then shuffles up, kills the Objective with one hit and pops both resurrection factories. Gorman gets to the enemy flag and I go to 3 CP.
The final Convergence turn wipes out the left Press Gangers but not much else, nothing can get in to contest so I win on CPs.

Me on the left, though I wasn't really ahead on time as Patty was in no rush for his final turn to try to nab army points destroyed (Fair enough). Three Esponiages was wonderful, but complicated things a lot. Without spot removal I'm not sure what CoC can do to not be disadvantaged in this matchup...

Happy with how all that worked out, I should have put a wall in front of Gorman to stop the power strike kill, but things were working out for me at that point anyway. Good game for me, hopefully it wasn't too miserable pushing around the eternally blinded warjacks...
