Deployment:
Went first, standard policy of never letting Circle get in your grill. Forest in centre extremely awkward.
Deployment error: Did not gauge how bad the forest was until first turn movement. Blocks Mortar LOS, hems in Kayazy/Great Bears.
Everything moves up, Gorman clouds. Fury on Beast.
Doomies survive, limited ranged attacks available. Kaya toes the left zone.
Feat turn. Butcher gets a total of 3 focus, drops fury off Beast, charges Medium infantry killing one. Doomies charge in, do little. Drakhun kills a pair of Druids, but one was out of feat range. Mortar hits but doesn't kill, Widows finish off wounded model. Yuri misses high defence Kaya. Beast runs up to get up to Kaya. Kayazy fail command check from enemy terror model to rub salt into wound.
5 feat token, 3 go to beast, 2 go to Yuri. Kaya turns out to have defence 18, so gets hit once that transfers. Functionally game over.
All Tactical errors in this turn.
1) Went for assassination and Butcher infantry roll up. Should have gone for Heavy Beast kills.
2) Cast Ravager on Butcher for the infantry roll, should have upkept Fury and cast Boundless Charge on Beast instead. Free charge, functional MAT 9, with feat tokens should have killed the beast across from it it and potentially moved in to hit either the Laris or Gorax. At the time thought wasn't in charge range, would have been with Boundless Charge.
3) Yuri charged up to Kaya, but charge target should have been the beast on the left. Rage tokens to eith assist 09 or wail on the left beast if charge did a good damage roll, potentially remove two heavies.
