Game 5 - Win - eIrusk vs eKaya

Result: Win
3-2-0

eIrusk vs eKaya

eIrusk - Kodiak, MoW Shocktroopers (5), Widowmakers, MoW Demolition Corp (3), WG Mortar
eKaya - Laris, Gorax, Shadowhorn Satyr, Scarsfell Griffon, Warpwolf, Shifting Stone + UA: Stone Keeper

Game: Normal eIrusk set up (Everyone cowering behind the MoW Shocktroopers), Circle set up in a string line and went first. The Circle tried to maneuver around, whilst the Mortar took pot shots and eIrusk cowered in the midst of the Widowmakers (Who had nothing else to do). The Warpwolf charged alone, and was duly put down by the Shocktroopers. The Shadowhorn Satyr charged in, successfully throwing the Kodiak on top of eIrusk. eIrusk feated to automatically get up and get away, the Satyr was then put down by the Demo Corp and Kodiak. Eventually Kaya, the Griffin and Laris tried an assassination run, but the monsters got stuck on the Demo Corp and Kaya couldn't hurt Irusk. Irusk fled into the middle of the Shocktroopers, whilst the Kodiak killed the beasts then Kaya.

Overview: Cautious play won out, the Circle didn't seem to capitalise on their speed as well as they could have.

Unit Overview:
  •  eIrusk: Not a single direct kill, but the passive abilities and Battle Lust were brilliant. Feat timing wasn't anything special, but at least wasn't wasted this game.
  • Man-O-War Shocktroopers: Rocked the house again, Battle Lust allowing them to slay a Heavy Warbeast, then they Shield Walled eIrusk.
  • Widowmakers: Again subpar, entire enemy list had easy access to Stealth. They ended up surrounding eIrusk as impromptu meatshields. Contemplating solo's or Ternions at this rate.
  • Mortar: Lacked optimal targets, but managed some heavy hits on the Warbeasts.
  • Man-O-War Demo Corp: Must remember to declare a special attack before starting to roll dice. Otherwise had a good first outing, Battle Lust with their bonus attacks was devestating.
Performance: 6/10. Probably over conservative, but won out.
