Game 419 - Darius vs eKromac

Once more into the breach!

eKromac (Tier of balls) - 4 Argi of some kind, 3 Griffons of some kind, Gorax, Stones + UA, Stalker, Witch chicks, Witch Chick solo played by Dahlia, the light Cav I've never seen before.

Playing the modded version of Incoming, now with objectives in the centre of the zones which are further apart.

As a leet player my D caster will be fine. Surely.

Cygnar 1: Stuff runs up, I Crane Ace forward, who then advances and boosted shot misses the Stonekeeper. Well, that was depressing. Arcane Shield on Rowdy, Fortify on the Stormwall.

Circle 1: Junk runs forward, Hyper Aggressive goes up. The cav run to the far left.

Cygnar 2: Ace shoots the now Stone Formed Stone Keeper. Hits, boosted damage does one damage point.
That's a good pair of 7 point activations.
I shoot an Argus for a bit, fail to take out any Aspects, Rowdy hangs back, Centurion goes into my zone and Polarity Fields.
Intent was to keep my Upkeep stuff relatively away from the Dispel chicks, hampered by the list barely cracking the double digit number. Is this the only unit in the game with dispel all across it? I hope so because it's a pain in the arse.

Circle 2: Murder time.
Witch Chicks go, one charge Rowdy and promptly botches the Dispel (Looks like I buggered up my Centurion placement, there's only so much you can do with Speed 4 in my feeble defence).
Kromac feats and goes for murder death on the Stormwall, takes out most of it.
Combo hitting Argi finish it off, Moops takes a moment to drink my tears.
Stalker ports onto the Centurion and sucks.
Cav run into the left side of my deployment.

Cygnar 3: Stormsmith futzes around, Gorman targets him with a blind Grenade to plonk it on the Stalker.
Centurion gets out of the way, Rowdy then goes in and kills the Stalker with Jackhammers.
Darius falls back, putzes around.
Junior runs to the bottom ride board corner.

Circle 3/Cygnar 4/Circle 4: I push models around, fundamentally I just can't make meaningfull kills, Centurion falls down, Rowdy ends up surrounded outside of the zone, the light cav Assault and pop Junior as he makes a run towards the top right board corner.
I had a chance to contest and at least make the hippies work for it, plan was for Rowdy to grab a Primalled Argi and one handed throw it toward the stonekeeper, if he lives then hopefully the frenzy will do it and make me happy.
Rowdy lost the Strength roll.

Forgot to snap a pic of clocks, both had about 15 minutes or so.
I'll get over Darius one day, mystifyingly though I'm not there yet.
Donations came in, so good work Badge Vest guy.
I'm liking the look of the 2016 SR at this point, especially Linebreaker replacing Incursion. Down with three flags! Now they just have to find the magic solution to Strength of Schedule and we're good (Cut to top 4 would be good enough I think, or a percentage based on attendance).

Round 3 is into Ruzzitchell, and alas he is running Cryx, which is sufficiently bad that I sadly put Darius aside and play pHaley for the first time ever. It's Goreshade and eSkarre, ends up being the pile of crap.

Scenario is a baseball diamond, an objective being nearest to you, then two flag on the mid line which are Dominate for 2/Control for 1. Killbox.

I win the roll and go with first, both sides have a nice trench so I'm content with either side.

Cygnar 1: Things move up, I live in fear of the Kraken just shooting Haley down so she Arcane Shields herself.
Galleon holds back so the Satyxis don't engage it.

Cryx 1: Cav get the armour buff. I thought an early feat might happen to ensure the Raiders feedback Galleon to death, but that didn't happen. Saatyxis spread out and run toward my Merc Colossal.

Cygnar 2: Had Skarre feated it would have been walk Galleon backwards, covering fire in front of it, kill what Satyxis I can. That didn't happen, so instead it's kills the Raiders before I go down 22 points.

Between Artilleristed Galleon, Acosta and Dead Eyes Black 13th it gets done.
Stormwall shoots at the Bane Riders after Aiyanna Harms them, I forget about Temporal Barrier lowering defence and only manage to kill one after missing with my mini-guns repeatedly. Alas.

Cryx 2: Arc Node runs forward. Skarre feats on herself and the Bane Cav, everything goes forward to get to Haley, a Black Spot is missed courtesy of the trench.
Kraken tries to shoot Acosta, he dodges and engages the node.
Holt dies tot he Withershadow, Aiyanna dies to Orin Electro-leaping.

Cygnar 3: Haley must hide!
She goes back as far as she can in the trench. Acosta kills the Arc Node.
Both Colossals move around to try to block lanes to Haley off.
I put a few attacks into the Kraken, not with a particularly good reason.

Cryx 3: Withershadow pings Objective, Skarre moves up and finishes it off, again missing Haley with a Black Spot.
The Kraken moves up, scatter forward of Haley, kills Lynch and the Squire.

Bane Cav advance, two get to Haley and knock off half her health.

Cygnar 4: I live! Kill Skarre time!
She has Admonition, but is next to the Stormwall. First plan is to headbutt her down, if that fails I'll also have a Stormpod down then move up Watts to stop her moving away and send the Galleon in.
Sure enough the Stormwall misses, so the 13th walks up.
Acosta walks in and kills a Bane cav for giggles.
Galleon then walks over to Skarre, boosted hit rolls easily put her in the dirt.

Game 417 - Darius vs Durst

In the land of Funsies bracket, there is no king. Only clowns and jesters.

Round 2 of ye old Sarcoma Slammage, into Big Chris.

Need to have a new pageant to work out which faction is the new Aussie Unicorn, because it ain't Menoth no more.

We end up on Linebreaker, which has two Objectives and four Flags spaced out around the table, Objective can be destroyed, friendly flags Dominated for 1, opposing flags controlled for 1 or Dominated for 2.

Towering Chris has the old Hotness of Harby and the blinding scorching newness that is Durst.

I drop Darius, as per my shiny plan of always giving the D.

Using a saner approach, ye old Menites go with Durst, not wanting to drop Harby into warmachine Doctor Who.

Cygnar Deploy: I won the roll! HAAAAPPPY DAAAAAYYYYS!
Frequently I go second with Darius, which is quite irritating as it usually means I lack board presence, so winning the roll I went straight to going first. I end up with a forest between by Objective and the right flag and a big hill out in the boonies on the left.

Stormwall goes to the forest side, as one of my few models with Pathfinder. I reason he can contest the right flag while Rowdy pushes up the guts of the left. My thinking is I have to just lump Dursts feat turn, but what I can do is keep the Stormcallers alive and disrupt all his jacks every turn.

Ace went far let near the hill, ready to move up and Snipe stuff out, though I wasn't adverse to him running back and being cagey, especially after his early wasteful death the game before.

Cygnar 1: Nearly everything runs forward, Arcane Shield goes on Rowdy, Fortify on Stormwall.
A pair of the Halfjacks go behind Stormwall, if the Reckoners go for some softening up shots on the Stormwall a couple points repaired every round might make the difference (I saw little value in Mines against the errant skirmish).
The Stormsmiths stay spread out across my back line, I didn't want them randomly sniped and valued good triangulation's.
Ace went tot he left of the hill, out of Camera shot, as I stupidly thought he'd be able to cap a Wrack early, turns out Magic weapons don't bypass their anti-shooting tech while they have a focus on them.

Menoth 1: Errants and Vengers run forward and spread out as the front line. Fire of Emancipation moves to the right across from the Stormwall.
Reckoners move up on the left side, Durst stays behind them. Choir chants can't touch this. With Guns anyway.

Cygnar 2: The Jacks are far enough back that I can ignore them for a turn. I can't stop the Vengers getting into the Stormwall, given I lack the ability to comfortably remove three or more of them without getting into Fire of Deliverances threat range I choose to ignore them. They'll all charge in, but won't have Battle Driven and I can ding them a little with Covering Fire.
Stormwall goes first, advancing somewhat, placing down a pod, covering fire templates and blasting an Errant.
My two halfjacks on the right run, one goes to be in an annoying spot for the Vengers, the other runs to the right of my flag, I reason with the Colossal drawing attacks it's unlikely they'll be able to stretch anything to get to my right flag and I can run them up in later turns to score on the opposing Menoth flag.
Centurion goes to my left flag and Polarity Fields.
Stormcallers and Ace (Still out of camera shot on the far left board edge) pop off the majority of the errants.
Darius hides behind my Objective, in a cloud with Arcane Shielded Rowdy in front of him.

Menoth 2: To my surprise Chrisoquent decides it's ding Darius time.
Reckoners pop my Objective, giving line of sight for two Vengers to charge Darius. Two others go into the Stormwall, one dies to Covering Fire. They take off about half of Darius' health and do about 10 points to my Colossal.
Fire of Reflief advances to be between the Reckoners and Vengers.
The Errants muddle around, killing a Stormcaller. The Seneschal runs in front of them.
Durst hangs back, goes base to base with the Reckoners, feats.

Menoth go to 1 CP.

Cygnar 3: I didn't see that coming at all. Good thing Darius can take a couple hits.
I'll try to clear out the Vengers, disrupt the jacks and blind them if I can, accepting that fundamentally I'm throwing away Gorman but likely it will be worth it.
Darius walks back, Jackhammer on Rowdy and the Stormwall kills all the Vengers.
Stormwall then advances, puts a pod behind the Reckoners. Big Guns ding the objective, I roll max shots as Covering Fire has lost a lot of value. The right side shots go for the Vassal, who is the only model near the right Menoth flag. I flub the rolls, hit once and leave him on a box.
Rowdy walks up, knocks down Fire of Liberation.
Stormcallers disrupt all the Menoth Jacks, Gorman moves up but is short on range to Black Oil, it scatters hitting the left most Reckoner and an Errant.
On the left, Ace kills an Errant. The Centurion charges, kills the errant Seneschal.
On the right, the Half Jacks are both surprisingly alive. One runs to control the right Menoth flag, the other falls back to replace him with a run next turn or be used for my feat.

Cygnar equal the field at 1 CP.

Menoth 3: At some point this turn something went wrong that made Durst scream in rage and charge in, but I'm not sure what it was.
An Errant kills Gorman, the Blind Reckoner fuddles away, Fire of Exemption and the other Reckoner scratch Rowdy. Durst charge up, hits Rowdy for not much.

Game 416 - Darius vs eFeora

Had the glory of the Sarcoma Slam, ye old annual charity raising event in Canberra (I guess it's now a thing? It feels like it's now a thing).

I had a Sussgasm in thinking about what to play for this event, thankfully my uber soul destroying Sturm and Drang with the three Meat Thresher tech was shafted by Badge Vest doing more important things that assembling said models for me to burrow (Note that what constitutes "More important than assembly Meat Threshers" is a list of extreme magnitude and girth).

My plan thus foiled, I went with Darius and a random cherry picked net list so people wouldn't counter drop Darius all day.

To Suss up the Haley list I dropped Junior for Savio, because he is both hilarious and an awful fit.

Anywho, Round 1, into Breforth, who I haven't played for a considerable time (We frequent different stores). Out come out the cult of Pyromaniacs, he had epic Feora and Harbinger. I pick the choice I wanted rather than was good, so it ended up Darius into Feora.

Testing out the SR 2016 Beta, got the one that is similar to Supply and Demand but without the god awful Objectives, instead replaced by Close Quarter esque flags.

Central is control/dominate for 1/2, friendly flag is Dominate for 1, enemy flag is control/dominate for 1/2, Killbox in effect.

Cygnar 1 - Notmuch to plan out really, it's advance and wait. I eyeball that Ace can probably kill the Monolith bearer, so that's worth going for.
Rowdy gets Arcane Shield, Stormwall gets Fortify.
I crane Ace, he then advances forward, draws a bead on the Monolith Bearer, is just shy. Dangit. Should have used Spyglass on Reinholdt after the crane.
Otherwise it all moves up, Ace is probably going to die, I covering fire in front of him anyway and throw a pod out.

Menoth 2 - Flame Guard with Shield Boss man dude rush the zone, Ace is blown up by the Revelator. Hand of Judgement toes. Everything pops it's once per game stuff.

Cygnar 2 - Not feasibly going to be able to score or kill much, I'll just get rid of the Flameguard and leave it at that.
Rowdy tramples over them, they then get Jackhammered and Lightninged a lot. I only kill about half of them, rather disappointing.
Stormwall advances into the zone, not that it needed to. I drop a mine in front of it then put down some poorly placed Covering Fire.

Menoth 3 - Revelator/Zealots Pew Pew Stormwall for a bit, FLame Guard stab ineffectually, Phyruss beat backs Rowdy around. Flaming Jack of Doom charges Rowdy, knocks an arm off.

Cygnar 3 - I contemplate feating, decide to instead start friendly flag scoring (Note:Should have done a turn earlier....).
Rowdy gets healed for a point, knocks some stuff down. My lack of magic weapons outside of Darius Arkantrik Bolting was getting vaguely annoying, after game I read the card and discovered the Captain America nob needs to be base to base with TFG for the immunity and I could/would have killed him this turn if not the one previous, but alas.
Stormcallers Disrupt Flaming Jack (Coming to a Mardi Gras near you!) and zap more flameguard.
Centurion ineffectually tramples in a bid to maximise attacks.
Stormwall does a shot into Feora for giggles, I fluff the damage roll.
Gorman clouds in front of Darius.

Didn't make any strong plays this turn outside of the Disruption. just kinda futzed around. I ahd a generous clock lead at this point, reasoned clocking was my best strategy, with passive scoring to force meaningful Menoth activation's.

Cygnar 4 - Imph. This is bad. I'll try to counter cripple the Revelator, have to disrupt Hand of Burning and carry on the clock plan. I think this is the turn I missed a photo?
A Mine kills multiple Zealots.
Gorman Rusts the Revelator. Centurion advances a tiny bit and pokes it.
Half jacks run around. Darius feats, returning Ol' Rowdy to health, who knocks down Phyrus again.
I Jackhammer the Centurion on the Revelator, kill about 3/4 of it's boxes.
Stormcallers do a bunch of zaps, most of the zealots die.
I stupidly don't Disrupt the Fiery Digits, instead plonking a meaningless TFG.
Arcane Shield goes on Darius out of willful optimism.

To be honest I didn't especially enjoy this game. It was slow, I made a number of very avoidable errors (Lack of battle plans, not following through on an obvious move) and I failed to bring to my opponents attention that I really didn't like the numerous take backs made after moving a model.

The unfortunate reality is sometimes games happen that we don't enjoy as much as we could've, but anyway onto round 2.

Game 414 - Darius vs pMadrak


In the waning hours of the Capitals random public holiday Monday, a sweet sweet unclocked mess occurred. Madrak, still all Rathroky but so far without the Inspiring ability to vaporize his followers whenever he gets a papercut or stubbs his tow wondered along into prime Cygnar real estate.

You can tell it's Prime Real Estate because Generallissimo Stryker (Suspected to be in the 5th of his infinite epic versions, most thus far unreleased) stuck a pair of flags in the ground saying so.

See the Trolls being all rebellious like with their "You screwed us over blah blah blah Leto being traitorous Blood Brother waaaa waaaa we actually had the right to demand taxes when you nicked our resources gurgle gurgle", the angry Rednut made the logical decision to send Darius and a load of metal lumps to deal with it.

Er.....anyway, in a closer approximation of real English, got a game where I plonked down Darius because I felt like it, presumably on a similar whim Jacoffman dropped pMadrak.

Rolled up Close Quarters, didn't clock.

My Darius is a converted Battle Mechanic, the Sentry is a Proxy for Ace, I forgot to deploy the Squire because I'm bad at playing Swans. Like, really bad.

Troll 1: Stuff moves forward, Long Riders out front, Horthol goes behind the Obstruction (Horthol is the cav bloke with a black base, the regular riders have white iterations.
Madrak is behind the Long Riders, Moses, pops his mini-feat to put Sure Foot on him. Some other support solo puts Concealmenty thingy on the Long Riders, Madrak dumped all his Fury in the stone.

Cygnar 1: Huh. This was already weird.
I've tried for years to dojo a Damiano list and I loathe every attempt thus far, I've never considered the Warnoun as the target of the spell.
Those Long Riders are currently Def 16 arm 20 against guns.
This is going to be bad.
I fuddle models around, keeping them outside the 12 inch threat of the cav. Ace trundles into the big forest to the right of my deployment.
Stormwall tries to wing the nearest Rider but is short on range.
I put down an optimistic Mage Storm after forgetting to Covering Fire, because again, just a bad Cygnar pilot, if this was an airplane I wouldn't have fueled or noticed the missing starboard engine before take off.
Arcane Shield goes on 'Ol Rowdy, Fortify on the Stormwall.

Troll 2: Jacolonel throws me for another loop, running nearly his whole army hard to the left in a looong flank refused move.
A Trollkin Champ Hero and the Feralgeist stay in run to contest range of the Troll Flag. The Long Riders again get all super defence mode as the front line, Madrak with Surefoot behind.

Cygnar 2: Well, that threw me. The hell are these Trolls doing?!
I decide to keep my distance, wing a model if I can. Once he unpacks hopefully I can get stuck in and take out something that matters (I know, I know, all Troll lives matter, shut up Leto).
Armour buff spells upkept, I throw focus to Stormwall and Ace.
Stormwall moves up and to the right out of threat range, shoots down a Long Rider. Yay first blood!
'Ol Rowdy and Darius move in front of the Stormwall, after placement I realise I mucked up and Strykers animatronic buddy is in charge range. Should only be a single Rider, it'll be fine right?
Ace moves up, shoots the Champ Hero guarding the Troll Flag for a few points.
Centrution walks backwards and Polarity Fields, he's intended to be the distraction, possibly contesting, piece in future turns. That's a strong 9 point activation that one...
Gorman and Black 13th futz around next to Darius.
I put down a couple mines, Covering Fires and Mage Storms. Not likely to do much, but every damage roll helps against this multi box nonsense.
Junior follows standard orders and walks away from the nearest clump of enemy models.

Looking at it now I probably could have run a Halfjack to the Troll Flag for an easy early CP. Oh well.

Troll 3: That one model I killed allows both Kithkars to Righteous Vengeance, one goes towards the Centurion, the other got somewhat stuck on other Trolls I think?
Sure Foot is going to stick around all game for reference. mentally add that upkeep to each Troll turn.
Horthol runs to the bottom left Corner, ready to waylay my Centurion in future turns. One Kithkar also moves up and around the Centurion, hits him in the back for a light scratch.
Long Riders go, one charges 'Ol Rowdy for a not much damage, the others spread around. Aside from the one that Slams a buddy, sending him flying over and killing Gorman, Lynch and Watts.

Uhhh......

Bugger. The Black 13th members dying I don't super care about, but Gorman makes the run and Jackhammer play reliable.
Ryan passes his command check anyway, so not the end of the world.

The other Kithkar charges into Rowdy as well, obscured in the photo by the Stormwall (Essentially above the Stormwall and next to the forest).

Bouncer goes to the Cygnar flag, I'm assuming to stay out of the Stormwalls threat range?
The Champ Hero and Feralgeist run to contest the Troll Flag properly.
Otherwise it's a mass of random Troll models, with the Pyre troll bringing up the rear.
Trolls go to 1 CP.

Cygnar 3: Simple enough, pop the Long Riders because they are the current threat, pop the Stone because I'm playing into Trolls, contest the Cygnar flag.
I pop the mines to hit a Rider and Champ Hero, do no damage.
I drop Fortify, the Stormwall is keeping enough distance for now. Arcane Shield sticks on the Rowdy Piper one.
One focus to Stormwall, two to Rowdy, three stays on Darius.
Darius goes first, he Cranes Rowdy out of the melee range of the Kithkar that charged the Stormwall, then Jackhammers twice to kill the Rider that charged Rowdy, lastly does a gun shot somewhere that does nothing.
Rowdy then walks into two of the Riders, burns all his attacks to kill one and leave the other toughed out.
Ryan moves up, does a Magestorm on the stone, kills a pair of the Stone unit.
The Stormwall moves a little bit, puts a pod next to the Cygnar flag. He then double handed throws the Kithkar at the Champ hero, gets the throw but misses the Hero, scattering off him. He dies at least from the ground (Don't fear heights, far the Ground. It's what kills you.).
Centurion, being the bravest jack of them all, backpedals again and punches and stabs the Kithkar to death.
The Rider that got Slammed is knocked down, at this point I was really feeling the need to maximise the number of attacks if I could, so Junior charged the knocked down Rider, killing him with a bought attack.
Ace aimed and killed the Feralgeist.
The pair of Halfjacks both run to annoy spots, one in the bottom of the trench in the way of the Centurion, the other in front of the Champ Hero on the Troll Flag.

Troll 4: On the Troll flag, the Champ Hero happily sits there and is joined by Moses.
In the centre of the battleline (Pretty much the centre of the Swan AD line) the Bouncer, remaining Long Rider Sons of Bragg go into Rowdy with Charge of the Trolls and Fervor up. They take out his movement and left arm.
Enjoying his own little scene on the bottom left corner, Horthol charges the Centurion and does sod all, but does get a crit knockdown.
In the centre, the Sorcerer tried to proc Battle Wizard off the Stormpod, but decided to gyrate on the pole in front of him when he has a flash back episode to his college experience (He needed the money).
Madrak goes to the Troll Flag, sighs, punches the Pod away.
The Stone moves down to above the Trench.

Cygnar 4: Panic Stations! Offensive scenario play loss to a Troll Brick with Cygnar I cannot handle!
I have to get as much stuff to contest the zone as possible. This is feat turn, I want Rowdy to live and it doesn't look like I'll get a good feast turn outside of that.
Junior puts Arcane Shield on the Stormwall, Rowdy gets Fortify, feat repairs Rowdy and Jackhammer kills the last Long Rider. Said upkeep monkeys then stay way back.
Up the top, Ace moves out of the forest and shoots down Moses (I genuinely don't know why I moved him there, he could have moved way to the right and threatened pinging the Champ in future turns).
Centre wise, Stormwall runs to contest the flag, finishing in the top of the troll mob. A free strike from the Bouncer rolls like an absolute boss and takes out the first couple columns on the left side.
Rowdy moves to engage the Sons, the Bouncer misses his free strike on him, so yay Karma. The cranky Old Git then flubs his rolls and kills a single Son of Bragg (I think the assault one).
Centurion punches Horthol for some damage.

Troll 5: Up the top, the Troll Champ charges Ace, takes out his movement and most of his boxes.
Around the Stormwall, the FellCaller, Pyre Troll and Sorcerer block him in and flub attack rolls.
Sons of Bragg Fervor, have Charge of the Trolls, but the Bouncer isn't in melee range for the bonus. They take out his left side and do sod all.
Bouncer and Madrak go into Rowdy, giving up on the Dominate for the turn as the Stormwall is looking reasonably healthy, they take out his movement and hammer again.
On the bottom, a Champ starts running toward Junior, whose eyes widen in absolute fear.
Horthol moves to the other side of the Centurion, again does sod all.

Cygnar 5: Mission don't lose was a complete success! I have an assassination shot now as well, lets get this done.
Up top, Aces glory days are done. He moves to engage and sobs.
Storm wall turns a bit, attempts to waylay the Stones, kills two of them and misses a lot (Damn you Sure Foot!).
Rowdy gets a 1 point repair off a halfjack, has a full load of Focus. Darius casts Full Throttle, walks backward into the forest, shoots the Troll Champ heading toward Junior for sod all.
Rowdy engages Madrak, misses most of his boosted attacks, burns off some Transfers.
Centurion waddles forward to toe the bottom of the trench, dismounts Horthol.
Junior shuts his eyes, squeezes the trigger. Opens them and he's knocked the Champs head off with a shot. Only elite warriors have RAT 4.
well, we didn't get this done, but I'm still trucking.

Troll 6: Ace hums a little tune, gets hit by the Champs axe. He doesn't die, but now only has a couple boxes and his battle blade going.
Around the Stormwall, the Pyre troll scoots around the back (Stormwall hadn't engaged him because I'm silly). Double boosts a shot at Darius, hit and does a few points plus the horrible spectre of a fiery demise in my future.
Otherwise the Fell Caller fails to damage the Stormwall (Fundamentally the Fell Caller is the Stormwalls crabs this game, constantly itching and never going away as I lack the attacks for proper treatment), the Sorcerer failed at something.
Sons of Bragg have Charge of the Trolls and Fervor, but Jacostein misses the fact that the Bouncer is no longer engaging and they just do some scratches.
Madrak ties of this nonsense, walks up and kills Rowdy (He somehow ends up in the wreck marker, I don't remember how).
The Centurion again gets a light stroking from Horthol.

Cygnar 6: Fire rolls out, just Charlie Sheening it.
Keep attacking! I want Madrak to die, didn't work last time so I figure I should remove the Transfer targets and be done with it.
Stormwall turns, Pod fails to hurt the Stone. he then does Melee attacks and kills both the Pyre and the Bouncer.
Up the top, Ace twiddles his remaining thumb. Poorly.
Centurion advances a few more inches (So swift! Such speed and grace!), punches Horthol for a bit more and kills a Stone Grunt.
Seeing where Madrak is, Darius through the forest toward the Troll flag, Junior runs to the far right board edge.

Troll 7: Madrak runs and toes the Darius forest, Sons of Bragg across from him.
The Stone runs to the Rowdy Wreck Marker, doesn't pop an aura.
The Champ Hero finally kills Ace.


Horthol does his highest damage roll yet. Centurion takes three points.

Cygnar 7: It's attempt #2 to kill Madrak.
Stormwall gets two. Darius casts Full Throttle, aims, hits the blocking Son of Bragg, boosts damage and falls two points short. Lamentations!
Stormwall, his straightforward charge lane blocked, goes into the Sons of Bragg. His Crabs gets a freestrike (That is, the Fellcaller Hero), does a couple damage points.
Takes out the Stormwall left arm.
I didn't get to engage Madrak anyway, I kill one Braggite, the crippled arm fails to take out the bad arm.
It is only now I realise the Stormwall could have run to engage, then been Full Throttled and Jack Hammered. Urk.
A pod and a Halfjack try to block off Madrak killing Darius.
Centurion, functionally in a different game, advances into the trench and contests the Swan flag, flails with his attacks.
Junior advances up, to the right edge of the Warnoun forest. Boosted shot causes the Ace killing Champ Hero to tough out (Obscured in photo by Stormwall).

Troll 8: Fellcaller charges Stormwall, does no damage but Revielle's the Champ hero up.
Madrak cannot get a line to Darius, he walks across in the forest.
The Stone moves out of the Wreck Marker and pops an aura.
The remaining Son and the Champ Hero go into Darius, they put him down to about 8 boxes.
In the other game, the Centurion gets flailed at, finally loses a column (Now on about 10 damage, all systems go).

Cygnar 8: HOW IS THIS NONSENSE STILL GOING?! DIE MADRAK DIE!
Full Throttle cast by Darius, he cranes a new Halfjack to be base to base with the Stormwall without a free strike, who then bodges the left arm back together.
Stormwall charges Madrak.
Herpes gets a free strike.
Does a single damage point.
Knocks the arm off again.

Off course he does.

Charge attack hits with good arm hits.
Madrak uses his Scroll to ignore it.

Trolling successful.

Wrecked arm misses.
Buy an attack, hit and do enough damage.
Passes tough.
I buy an attack and request another tough roll.
He reminds me that Sure Foot means he isn't knocked down.

Why dear god why?

I roll the attack, hit, he fails the tough roll.

Bout time.

That was amazing, obscene, hilarious and soul destroying.

Enjoyed it thoroughly, and yet will still be using a clock next time. Must stop dropping Darius randomly, keeps getting Trolls. It's bad.
