Into the Monday breach, with a second request for eHaley (What is this madness?) from Edstorm.
Rolled up Close Quarters.
eHaley - Stormwall, Squire, Black 13th, Thorn, Gorman, Tinker, Hawk, Junior, Anastasia, 2x Press Gangers
Objective: Effigy of Valor
3Vlad - Ruin, War Doge, Fenris, IFP + UA, Black Dragon IFP + UA, Outriders, Ragman, Gorman, Saxon
Objective: Irrelevant
Khador Deploy: Left flank metal IFP are the Black Dragons, the Black IFP on the right are the regular lots (The irony!). Black Cav on the far right are the Murder POnies, Vlad, Ruin and various solos are in the middle.
Cygnar Deploy: Stormwall to the left of centre, Anastasia bungled up so I picked the side with a nice looking wall and an obstruction on the opposing side I was hoping to get Covering Fire blocking on.
Khador 1: Everything runs up, Infernal Machine goes on Ruin, Hand of Fate on the Ponies. Fenris gets to the Khador flag.
Cygnar 1: Plan is to run stuff up, feat, kill Fenris, set up the Press Gangers to kill IFP the turn after.
The Gangers run to various spots in the middle of the board, the Temporal Accelerated Stormwall moves up, lines on Fenris, dismounts then kills him. Because of that facing the Covering Fire templates don't go down ideally, the Pod also is placed weirdly to not zap pirates.
Haley moves up, some screwing around happens to make sure I get the Murder Ponies. My feat misses the various solos and Vlad.
13th move up the middle and put a Magestorm down.
Happy with this turn aside from the Stormwall and Thorn mistakes.
The Pod only hits enemy models, so could have gone where it needed to, next to the round Obstruction. I should have just not taken one of the shots on Fenris to make sure the Covering Fire went down appropriately.
The Murder Ponies needed to start being whittled down, probably the only means I had of doing that this turn was to get Thorn up the right, pull a focus of the Squire and Arcane Bolt one to death, at least get the anti-spray program going.
Khador 2: Spells upkept, IFP shield march forward, point and giggle at where the Covering Fire is. Vlad toes the Killbox, Ragman hides behind the Obstruction, Gorman clouds in front of el Vlado. Black Dragons mini-feat.
Cygnar 2: Plan is to send Press Gangers in, kill what IFP I can, Esponiage with Anastasia to make space to get the Stormwall into Ruin.
That pretty much happens. Hawk runs around providing the Object of Desire bonus, I kill a few of the Black Dragons and do a fair bit to the normal Pikes. The Stormwall trivially kills ruin after being Temporal Accelerated. Haley falls way back. I muck up the Black 13th and don't really do anything with them. A pod hits Gorman for three damage.
Khador 3: Ragman moves up, Death Fields. Gorman hits the Stormwall with a Rust.
Vlad feats, charges the Colossal, kills Press Gangers with Flashing Blades while Side stepping forward with normal attacks, takes out three quarters of the Stormwall and Sprint to the Cygnar flag. The remaining Black Dragons then finish off the Colossal. The Murder POnies go into the forest and kill the majority of the Press Gangers on the right.
Khador go to 2 CP.
Cygnar 3: 13th, Haley and various support pieces derp at killing Vlad and his load of Blood Tokens, I concede.
Me on the right.
Blargh. mucked that right up. Needed to whittle Ponies and apply the 13th/Pods to kill the solos properly. Vlad will likely pump up the Blood Tokens regardless, needed to Covering fire properly and start threatening scenario.
At the time contemplated swapping out the Tinker (Who I forgot to put on the board...) and Gorman for pEiryss, think there's probably better ways to play it instead looking at it, though there is a fair bit of strain on the Black 13th and protecting the Stormwall.

Game 378 - eHaley vs pMakeda
Welp, after that display of incompetence we had time for another game, Jeffedor expressed an interest in seeing Haley2, so....yeah.....
eHaley - Stormwall, Squire, Black 13th, Thorn, Gorman, Tinker, Hawk, Junior, Anastasia, 2x Press Gangers
Objective: Effigy of Valor
pMakeda - Molik, Gladiator, Marketh (Lead singer of the Puffinators), Nihilators, Pain Givers, Cetrati, Radheim, Animantarax
Objective: Arcane Wonder
Ye old three flags returns! I seem to get a high amount of games on Two Fronts and Incoming for some reason, so this was a welcome prospect (How my thoughts on three flags has changed down teh years....)
Skorne Deploy: Anastasia spazzes out, Skorne choose first. I pick the side without the forest of blegh. Cetrati go on the far right flank this time, Nihilators/Radheim take the centre, Heavies/Pew Pew Rhino on the left.
Cygnar Deploy: Some standard Time Piratism. Arrr.
Skorne 1: Defenders Ward goes on the Nihilators, everything runs up. Radheim cruises into the forest. Assorted Large Bases and above hang out on the hill on the left.
Cygnar 1: Haley bullshit goes down. The Pirates spread out around the mid line, Anastasia/Gorman cruise up to the mid flag, Haley feats and charges up to the end of the Trench with Decel up. Temporal Accelerated Stormwall moves up, puts down Covering fire and a pod, with focus to boost damage it straight up shoots down the Animantarax. Black 13th then move up and put down a Magestorm.
Skorne 2: My feat gets everything except the Paingivers and Cataphracts. Nihilators keep Defenders Ward and spread around as much as they can. Radheim falls back in the forest.Molik gets Savagery and moves to the right edge of the hill. The Gladiator moves up to a blocking spot, Makeda and Puffy Pants also go on the hill, she feats.
Cygnar 2: Stormwall gets a bunch of focus. Plan is swamp, Esponiage, kill everything.
Smurfs on the right go into the Cataphracts and kill two. Stormwall charges and kills teh Gladiator. Gorman with Corrosion, a Magestorm, Black 13th shots, Hawk and Esponiage actions kill all the Nihilators and Paingivers. I messed up my placement with Gorman and some of the communists, so Haleys activation was to TK the alchemist and Anastasia so the Esponiage could go off, she then fled back down the trench out of fear of death.
Cygnar goes to 2 CP.
I'd planned to have a Smurf go to the left to be in Espionage range, but forgot about it when I moved the unit.
Skorne 3: Marketh kills Anastasia, Cataphracts cause a pirate to tough, Molik tries some Side Stepping and misses every bought attack on Press Gangers. Jeffakopolis then concedes as I cruise to a scenario win without to much effort after this (Radheim could contest the middle, I go to 3, clear up either the middle or right flag and call it a day).
So yeah...Haley....so rubbish with that nerf and all.....

Game 377 - Darius vs pMakeda
Got in some rare Casual Sundays against Jeffenistrator.
My current favourite list to play:
Darius - Stormwall, 'Ol Rowdy, Centurion, Defender, Sylyss Wishesandstuff, Black 13th, Journeyman
Objective: Fuel
pMakeda - Molik, Gladiator, Marketh (Lead singer of the Puffinators), Nihilators, Pain Givers, Cetrati, Radheim, Animantarax
Objective: Arcane Wonder
Rolled up Incoming.
Darius Deploy: Won the roll for the first time with Darius and picked first. Stormwall/Rowdy pair to go up the left, Centurion/Defender to go up the right.
Darius/Halfjacks still blank bases for now.
Makeda Deploy: Beasts go central, Animantarax is across from the Stormwall, Nihilators go the far left flank, Radheim goes extreme right.
Darius 1: Arcane Shield on Centurion, Fortify on the Stormwall, Centurion gets Craned and everything runs forward. Two Halfjacks go in front of the Centurion, one is in the trench to the left of the Stormwall.
Makeda 1: Radheim runs way up the right flank and hides behind the forest of doom. That's going to be annoying.
Gladiator and Savagery Cataphracts go up the guts either side of the Skorne Objective. Nihilators, Molik and the Animantarax behind camp out on the hill on the left.
Molik gets Defenders Ward, gives the Storm Wall the finger at the prospect of early shots.
Darius 2:plan is to hem the Nihilators in with templates, damage the Gladiator a bit with the Stormwall and put a shot from the Defender into Radheim.
Stormwall and Defender both get a pair of focus, Stormwall moves, lines the Gladiator, whacks down a Pod and Covering Fire. I hit the Gladiator and crank both damage rolls. Halfjacks all become various mines, Centurion toes the corner of the right zone with Polarity Field. Darius Cranes Ryan, who walks to the left and puts down a Magestorm, killing the Pod.
At this point I've got the Defender to go. I could put a shot into Radheim by advancing up, the other option is to try to finish off the Gladiator, which has eight health to go. Looking at the math they both pan out about 30ish percent, I do an aimed shot at the Beast which was the way to go. Alas, my dice stop trying to crack reality and do four points, leaving the Spirit Aspect still going.
Two glaring errors here. Darius ended up out of walking distance of the Stormwall for feating next turn and my eyeball on the Magestorm/Covering fire was about by a enough for a small base to fit through the gap.
Makeda 2: Both spells upkept.
Sure enough, the Nihilators run through the gap, most hold back but one engages Rowdy and another engages Ryan. The Cetrati advance and Shield wall in front of one mine. Radheim goes through the forest and does an armour Piercing attack ont eh Defender, a low roll only causes five damage.
Gladiator moves up a bit, Rushes Molik, takes three damage from the Covering Fire to go down to one health. Molik gets arranged, charges the Centurion, maxes Fury to kill 75% of it.
That went pretty well for me, realistically I think the play is have Radheim toe the right zone and hide behind the forest, stopping me from scoring in that zone without extreme difficulty, Molik sidesteps off the Stormwall to kill Rowdy and Fate Walker back, Gladiator gets healed up as the Heavies are needed to trade up. Makeda also could have feated to slow down the infantry pick offs.
Darius 3: Couple focus to Stormwall. Simple enough, kill the heavies and ride that Armour Skew to the attrition win.
Mines kill some Nihilators. Stormwall pods to kill the Nihilator blocking Rowdy, then headbutts Molik into the ground. Rowdy charges Molik and does some reasonable damage. Defender moves into the forest to hit Radheim for a few of his health. Black 13th advance and kill the Gladiator with a Brutal Damage shot.
Darius then feat heals, Jackhammer kills Molik and dismounts Radheim, then he walks to the left. Centurion stabs a Cetrati for a few points as something to do.
Conversation that then happened in my head:
Logic: "Should I move Arcane Shield onto Darius? He either Assassinates or loses at this point"
Bad Habits: "Nah Bro, you'll sweet as and look at that Centurion! ARMOUR 24 BRO!!!!"
Sloth: "Dude, you'll be fine, just pass the turn already"
Stupitidy manifested as a cross eyed Scorpion hitting his head with his own tail: "Duh, Skorne haf na guns moon moon"
Outvoted by his dumber constituents, I then move Junior to the left a bit.
Makeda 3: Animantarax charges Rowdy, shoots Darius to 5 health. Marketh moves up and uses a Muzzle to exactly kill Darius.
Makeda still could charged up and done another few Muzzles.
That is another tale of me gloriously putting defeat from the jaws of victory. I enjoy Darius, and am thankful I value that over having a win record.
At some point Moops suggested the Stormstrider, which I'm thinking might replace the Defender. He also suggested Triumph, which is the first card I've ever read that made me think my Warroom had a card text error, as that is 11 points of such utter garbage I don't understand how it exists.
Outside of Rowdy/Defender becoming a Stormwall, the other piece I'm contemplating is Ace to snipe out solos, but if I use Lynch intelligently I'm not sold on that just yet.

Game 376 - Darius vs eKromac
One a Monday happens once more!
Continuing to indulge my return to the ways of SUSS:
Darius - Stormwall, 'Ol Rowdy, Centurion, Defender, Sylyss Wishesandstuff, Black 13th, Journeyman
Objective: Fuel
Chibdon brought the latest of Circle crazes, reassigning Magic Items from Trolls:
eKromac - Gorax, Ghetorix, Stalker, Pureblood, 2x Stones + 1x UA, Druids + UA, Blackclad, Wilder, Bloodweaver Nightwitch
Objective: Fuel
Two Fronts once more.
Circle Deploy: Lost the roll once more alas, Circle picked first because that's what Circle does. I ummed for a bit, decided to take the side with a Linear for Darius to use as the Trench/Hill side doesn't protect him from the Melee assassination run in anyway.
Beasts to the back, solos tot he right, Stones/Druids up front.
Cygnar Deploy: Stormwall now with arms and expressing my opinion of Werewolves in Iron Kingdoms. Bases are Darius + Halfjacks. Line up is Rowdy, Stormwall, Centurion then Defender, 13th in the centre with Darius.
I figure I'll have to use the Lynch to get sight to a heavy and start pummeling to get the heavy trade going. Given the lists it's fairly clearly going to come down to Beast/Jack trading. I do think this is probably the sort of game that PP actually sells it as, Monsters vs Robots with some brave/stupid smaller things running around.
The Defender is painted in the Merc scheme and thankfully isn't that visible in the photos, because it looks like shit. I believe in quantity over quality (Rather an average painted army over one well painted unit) but it's bad enough I'm actually fixing it up now. My teen self is shocked and wondering why I stopped spray painting everything dark green and leaving it at that.
Circle 1: The Blackclad and Nightwitch run to the right, clad man hangs on the hill. Future Ardennes advance through the woods incoming.
Everything else moves up in a block slanted toward my zone, clouds go up from Druids; Bromac puts Awakened Spirit on the Stalker and Aggravator.
Cygnar 1: Focus goes to the Defender and Stormwall.
Everything moves up, the Centurions gets a Crane assist and Fortify. The Stormwall gets Arcane Shield and has its big guns fire away, turning out to be an inch short. The 13th put a Magestorm out using the Pod. The Defender goes base to base with the Centurion and has a Half jack hide behind it, a boosted shot is in range of the Black clad but misses the shot. Old Rowdy moves up the left and has a Halfjack in front of him.
Flashbacks to the last game, where I went second on Two Fronts and was short on range with the Stormwall. Really should have eyeballed that off the zone, but alas. Next time for sure.
Circle 2: The Circle Cloud Brick moves up a little bit, the Clad and Witch sure enough run up the right side into the Ardennes. Spells stick around.
Cygnar 2: Plan is to soften up Ghetorix. Spells upkept. Three focus to the Stormwall, one to the Defender. All the halfjacks move up and mine, one way to the left in super awkward land to jsut try to mess up the Clad placement.
Darius Cranes Lynch forward, who advances and puts a Fire Beacon on the second from left Druid, getting sight to Ghetorix. Stormwall and Defender boosted Boosted shots into Ghetorix, leave him with about 10 health. He Hyper Aggresives forward an inch or so into the Druids.
Rowdy hides next to the Stormwall, Centurion Polarity Fields and keeps the Defender from Drag land.
I should have kept Rowdy an inch further around the Stormwall with a Halfjack in front of him to stop what happens.
Circle 3: The Druids move up, the one on the far left pulls Rowdy three inches forward, the rest can then grab him and move him closer knocking him down in the process.
Kromac feats heals Gheto. Ghetorix and the Stalker get teleported up, Gheto into the Stormwall, Rowdy and Lynch, Stalker into Rowdy and Objective. The Black13th fail their command check from Terror.
The Pureblood realises he missed his window and has to move up to put his animus onto Ghetorix.
Ghetorix kills Lynch, does some damage to Rowdy, then takes out most of the Stormwall. The Stalker self Animuses, kills the Objective and Rowdy then Sprint back into the Covering fire.
Blackclad moves up and does nothing, Nightwitch runs into my backfield.
Ghetorix is still in front of the Stormwall, just obscured.
Cygnar 3: Central mines explode, kill a Druid. Darius poops out a halfjack. I figure I need to feat and kill Ghetorix and the Pureblood, then I can ride the armour buff train for a few stops to ride out an attrition win.
The Stormwall gets two focus, rest on Darius. Colossal moves to the left to line it up properly, then Powerstrikes Ghetorix toward the Pureblood. It looks about four inches, so on a 2+ I get the knocked down pair of Circle heavies for some sweetness.
I roll the 2, which turns out to be half an inch short. The Defender aims for a shot on the Pureblood and misses. In for a penny, I go for the Jack Hammer play anyway. Darius Cranes the Centurion into melee, Jackhammer kills Ghetorix and misses the Pureblood four times. Other stuff runs around, Black 13th rally in the background, Sylyss engages the Nightwitch.
I'd have liked the Halfjack and a Mage storm cloud in between Darius and the Circle stuff to try to stave off the assassination, the need to flee over rode that concept.
Circle 4: Druids drag Darius forward, Kromac charges and splats him.
Me on the right, 25 minutes on my clock.
Content with my plans for the most part, just not the positioning involved. Rowdy and Defender most likely big swaps, otherwise weighing up the value of Sylyss vs Squire. Couple more games on different scenarios first, think I'll request re-roll if Two Fronts shows up again.

Game 375 - Darius vs eDoomshaper
Welp, snuck a Monday game in amongst all the Guild Ballers. The Magic 8-Ball indicates blog future is cloudy, there's a multitude of reasons I'm not going to get into the footy game and Warmachine in Canberra is starting to look like it has a bleak future....
I can only handle watching Haley die so many times, so out comes some Proxy machine for my style list:
Darius - Stormwall, 'Ol Rowdy, Centurion, Defender, Sylyss Wishesandstuff, Black 13th, Journeyman
Objective: Fuel
I looked up a bunch of Darius lists, this was an early Jay Larsen build that doesn't feature two Stormwalls and involves models I own, so gave it a whirl. Stormwall anchors, Centurion contests something, Defender takes pots shots or kills Cortexes, Rowdy/13th do the rest of the work.
And rocked into Runes (Eep!) on Two Fronts. Danger Will Robinson!
eDoomshaper (Runes Tier 4) - Mulg, Earthborn, Mauler, Axer, 4x Runeshapers, Janissa, Stone + UA
Objective: Fuel
Unclocked, as neither of us had rocked our lists out that much (Read: At all).
Troll Deploy: Doomie wins the roll, plonks down his models of evil. Runeshaper units are distinguished by Blu Tac assortments on the back of bases, so I didn't really keep track of which unit was which.
Cygnar Deploy: That's a forest in front of my deploy, I reasoned it would give me better play than the awkward Obstruction. The Blank bases are Darius and Half jacks. The thinking that Darius is on a large base is spread far and wide.
Centurion on the left, Rowdy and Defender on the right flank.
Troll 1: Everything runs up and scares the hell out of me. The Heavies crowd around the left side wall.
Cygnar 1: I give Focus to the Sotrmwall and Defender. Arcane Shield goes on the Stormwall, Fortify on the Centurion. Covering Fire and Magestorm go out. The Defender and Stormwall try shots on the right side units of Rune Shapers, both are about half an inch out of range.
The Centurion got Craned forward, then walks forward.
Gah. That was some sweet Runeshaper placement. The Centurion should have run so that he could Polarity field into the zone.
Though really the Centurion is a throw away. I'd have been better served putting my Halfjacks on that side to go into Mine mode in the opposing zone, or at least to go around the Centurions future wreck marker.
Troll 2: The Beasts veer left, Runeshapers variously advance. One gets a shot into Ol Rowdy and does a few points of damage.
Cygnar 2: The Dance begins!
I have to keep things 11 inches from Mulg to stop him breaking my stuff.
Except the Centurion. It's going to die. It gets three focus, charges and kills two Rune Shapers and pouts.
My various guns kills four Rune Shapers on the right side including the three in the zone, another Mage Storm goes up. Two of the Half Jacks advance and become Mines.
Darius runs to toe the right zone.
Cygnar goes to 1 CP.
Trolls on 0.
Troll 3: Doomie Purifies and feats, stripping Fortify off the Centrution. The Mauler goes in and...well....mauls the Centurion, though has to buy a stack of attacks to get the Job done. The Axer runs to the right side behind the Tier wall. Mulg and the Dire Troll advance a little and go behind Janissa's wall. Various Runeshapers advance, one knocks down Rowdy and does another couple of points to him.
Cygnar on 1.
Trolls go to 1 CP.
Cygnar 3: Defender clocks a Runeshaper. Rowdy gets Fortify and runs to the right. Stormwall drops back a bit , puts a pod in the opposing zone, does 6 damage to the Objective with boosted damage rolls (Low rolls and Armour 20 not working out so well). A Halfjack runs way to the right to utilise the fat on Rowdy.
Cygnar goes to 2 CP.
Trolls on 1.
Bad damage on the Objective aside, I was reasonably happy here. My stuff was out of Mulg Range, the scenario Grind was starting. The Axer seemed to be in a bad spot.
I'd forgotten that Goad existed. I should have loaded up Rowdy, Crane him forward and charged him in to kill the Axer. Mulg probably kills him, then the Sotrmwall kills Mulg and I hope I can do some good positioning/feat to pick off the next few heavies while looking for the shooting assassination on Doomy.
Troll 4: Axer frenzies, charges to the left and knocks down a member of the Stones.
Stone pops for Strength and moves to the right. Rune Shapers move around, one goes to a spot to stop Rowdy counter Charging in the future.
There was a theory that the Mauler might be able to get into the Stormwall with the Speed boost from the Wreck Marker, but the 12 inch threat looked a little short off Doomies control area.. The Mauler ends up hiding behind Janissas wall in any case. Dire Troll hangs out near the Troll Objective.
Doomie Purifies Fortify.
Mulg charges my Objective for free from Fuel, kills it with his initials and Goads to Rowdy. He maxes Fury to leave Rowdy on 1. He then Affinity attacks to kill him. Sadness. Rune Bearers move around all Rune Bearery, one of them kills Lynch.
Cygnar on 2 CP.
Trolls go to 3 CP.
I have an inclination to shake my fist
Cygnar 4: I have to clear a Rune Bearer so Stormwall and charge Mulg then be Jack Hammered.
Defender pops a member of the Stone. Watt knocks down a Stone Member, Ryan goes into Melee with the blocking Rune Bearer, does two Gunfighter shots and kills him.
Alas, I've mucked up my Ryan placement. I check my LoS, with Darius and Ryan the charge to Mulg is blocked by about 2mm. The Stormwall has to trample to Mulg and puts a pod in the left zone.
Darius moves up, does an irrelevant shot, kills Mulg with five Jack Hammer attacks.
Junior waddles forward a bit and shoots down the far advance scouting Rune Bearer.
Cygnar goes to 3 CP.
Trolls on 3.
Troll 5: Stone runs into the top edge of my zone. Mauler gets Transmute, charges the Stormwall and takes out a bit over half. The Axer goes in as well and doesn't do great. Janissa walls Doomie. Doomie Purifies and camps two. Earthborn waddles forward a bit.
Cygnar on 3 CP.
Trolls go to 4.
Cygnar 5: I have a chance! A slim chance, but I'll take it.
I have to shoot down the Troll Objective, contest with a Stormpod, kill three Stone Members and the Mauler to get the Scenario win.
No worries.....
A couple focus goes to the Stormwall. Darius feats, repairs the Stormwall, pot shots the Kriel stone to knock down the Bearer. Four Jackhammers leave the Mauler on two boxes. Stormwall pods down into the other zone, shoots the Objective, boosts damage and does a total of three points.
I sigh.
The nipple Guns roll max shots, plus the Black 13th and Defender the Mauler and two of the three Stone guys in the zone die.
The Stone Bearer toughs it out a few times to stay contesting the zone.
The Journeyman kills a Runebearer out of spite.
We level out at 4 CP, I concede as all the trolls need to do is kill the Pod to win.
That was tricky. Interesting, but I think weighted to the trolls. I'll give Darius more games, I think more aggressive moves by the Troll Heavies would have been a face punch.
I can only handle watching Haley die so many times, so out comes some Proxy machine for my style list:
Darius - Stormwall, 'Ol Rowdy, Centurion, Defender, Sylyss Wishesandstuff, Black 13th, Journeyman
Objective: Fuel

Game 374 - eHaley vs pSkarre
Round 2, Slam dreams smashed as per the usual.
eHaley - Stormwall (Bonded), Thorn, Black 13th, Squire, Journeyman, Tinker, Gorman, Hawk, Anastasia, 2x Press Gangers
Objective: Effigy of Valor
Recon rematch into ye old original Skarre with some slight list changes.
pSkarre - Slayer, Blighted Trolls, Gerlak, Saxon, Necrosurgeon + Stith thrall, Skarlock, Gorman, Bane Thralls + UA, Tartarus, Darragh, Raiders + UA, Satyxis Captain
Objective: Effigy
Cygnar Deploy: Back in the going first train, plan is to get up, kill Raiders top of 2 and use Covering Fire to keep junk out of the zone.
Cryx deploy: That there is some stuff.
Cygnar 1: Stuff moves up, somewhat blunted by the Raiders nonsense. Covering Fire and Mage Storm templates go out, this time a bit better spaced so the Raiders can't conga line it up. Haley dying paranoia is in full swing, so she gets Arcane Shield again.
Cryx 1: The mob advances! Skarlock sacrifices a Stitch Thrall for....five? A number I didn't want anyway. The Satyxis captain goes onto the hill, misses a Press Ganger. Darragh rides up, Hellfires a Smurf to death, then light cavs back. Skarre feats, Gorman clouds.
Cygnar 2: Press Gangers maul most of the Raiders. Haley Feats and fires a Time Bomb through Thorn to hit Skarre, Slayer and Gorman, though kills none. Gorman clouds up in front of Haley. A Magestorm misses and scatters forward.
Cryx 2: Things move forward, the Trolls engage with Press Gangers on the left, Banes move around but don't get to great spots.
Cygnar 3: Haley hides, throws another TIme Bomb on Skarre and Slayer. Smurfs fall back into the zone, a Magestorm goes up to protect them. Communists take out a couple Trolls then get Covering fire put on them. Stormwall does some pot shots on the Slayer, kills Gorman with a pod.
Cryx 3: Troll murder Communists. Banes run up on the right for some surrounding shenanigans. Slayer and Skarre limp into the zone. Skarre enjoys her armour 30.
Cygnar 4: Clocks running down so no pic. Haley hides behind the Gorman cloud, Time Bombs the Slayer and Skarre. Press Gangers and Hawk stab some Cryx infantry. Black 13th go on a murder spree. Stormwall power strikes the Slayer out of the zone, then buys a couple attacks to put the objective on one health.
Anastasia procs esponiage. Press Gangers take more stabs, 13th continues murdering, Stormwall kills the Objective.
Cygnar goes to 3 CP.
Cryx 4: Skarre walks over, can't quite get the angle to spell Haley, concedes.
Me on the right.
Turned out better that time, Anastasia is just brutal. I loathe the Haley model, not for it's look, but its height and sheer knockability, must have had to right her a couple times each round.
Think it's time for to try out ye old Darius, provided a non-Cryx opponent exists somewhere...
