No Clock, Fire Support
MacBain! - Galleon, Silly Wishnailer, Gorman wondercloak, Kayazy Assassins + UA, Steelhead Halberdiers (Max), Alexia, TAC, Orin, Ragman, eEiryss
eMorghoul - Rhinodon, Molik, Gladiator, Blood Runners, Blood Runner Master, Posse, Master Tormentor, Aptimus Marketh, Paingivers, Willbreaker, Bog Trogs (Min)
Lose the roll, given second.
Rangers proxied as the Blood Runners.
Side picked for the forest shenanigans.
Skorne 1: The mighty advance! Silence of Death goes on the Blood Runners.
Merc 1: Run up, Fortune on Kayazy, Failsafe on Galleon. Piper puts Fearless + Tough on the Halberdiers. Thralls runs over to the right.
Skorne 2: Ambushing Trogs kill the Thrall, Blood Runners cut down some Steel Heads. Morghoul feats (+2 Def to friendly models in control, immune to free strikes.
Merc 2: Galleon gets a focus, moves up and drags in the Gladiator, where it sadly is still in Morghouls feat range. AoE shots kill the Will Breaker (Yay!). Ragman moves up and Deathfields. TAC moves up and AoE's some of the Blood Runners. Kayazy and Steelheads charge up, kill a few of the Bloodrunners. Alexia wanders up, Risen jam the Trogs, a Thrall gets crated and kills another Trog, they then fail their leadership. Kayazy get Dirged by Piper. MacBain! Feats, Jackhammer on the Galleon hits once out of four, taking out the Gladiators Mind. Gorman clouds in front of MacBain! Orin casts Null Magic.
Biggest error: Left free space in front of MacBain! for a potential Trample to get to him.
Skorne 3: Trogs rally. Gladiator moves over, we forget it's lost its mind, it kills a Kayazy and a Dorf. Marketh fails to cast Silence of Death due to Null Magic. Rhidon tramples forward, fails to hit a Kayazy twice. Morghoul moves over, casts Silence and Rush on Molik, who then charges up and swings his way to MacBain, where he fails to hit.
Note: Rhidonon proxied by clear base in the centre of the infantry blob.
Merc 3: Ragman Deathfields. Galleon walks over, hits Molik with a Headbutt then buys an attack on the Gladiator. MacBain moves into the forest, Jackhammers the Gladiator and Molik to death. Infantry move around, Alexia charges and kills the Rhinodon. Gorman blinds a pair of the Posse. Orin walks over and Null Magics.
Skorne 4: Everything left charges in, Morghoul blinds the Galleon.
Merc 4:Galleon moves out of the way, MacBain charges Morghoul and kills him with two boost attacks.
Player Grading
Time Management: 7, got activations in a reasonable manner.
Scenario Awareness: 6, Galleon contested but never going to win on scenario.
Spacing and Placement: 7, prevented Trogs from ruining my day, gummed up successfully. Error in turn 2 placement.
Target Priority: 8, Willbreaker kill very good.
Effectiveness: 7, used reasonable dice math.
Cool: 9, no issues.

Game 207 - Win - MacBain! vs Harbinger
No Clock, Incoming
MacBain! - Galleon, Silly Wishnailer, Gorman wondercloak, Kayazy Assassins + UA, Boomhowlers (Min), Alexia, TAC, Kell, Ragman, eEiryss
Harby - Devout, Errants + Seneschal, Bastions, Forgeguard + Attendant, Wracks, Bastion solo dude, Vassal, Wracks, Rhoven and co, Daughters, Piper.
I won the roll! It can happen! Menoth picked the side with a nice spot for Haby to hide.
I picked first, got to get up on Harby as quick as possible. I think that is always the right call.
The rocky thing in the middle is a hill, the hedges are linears.
Menoth deploy.
Merc 1: Run up lads! Optimistally I put up Fortune on the Galleon and Counter measures Kell.
Menoth 1: Stuff all runs up, Harby feats.
Merc 2: Counter feat, Countermeasure put on Boomies who jam forward, all get knocked down accept for Greygore. Galleon edges up, is out of range of Piper and does little outside of killing a Bastion. Kayazy Mini Feat and run to the left, one dies to feat. Kell pops a couple Forge Guard. Eiryss, initially on the left, starts running back to the right behind my lines. Alexia pops a second Thrall that runs to the right.
Menoth 2: Kell gets pulped, Purification hits and stuff jams in. The daughters knock down Alexia and Gorman.
Merc 3: Boomies stand themselves up, Jam up. Alexia and Risen kill a couple daughters, Kayazy walk in and start the stabbing. Thralls run either side of Vilmon.
Menoth 3: Right side gets cleared by Rhoven and Vilmon. Bastions stab at the Galleon, most do little, one hits for lots. Units in the left hover around for a bit.
Menoth go to 1 CP.
Merc 4: Jackhammer and Deathfield kill the Bastions, Galleon does some meaningless shots. Alexia and the Thralls fail badly, only killing one of Rhoven and co. Eiryss finishes her jog to the right side of the table. Kayazy continue whittling away.
Menoth 4: Harby floats up and does a few nukes to clear out Kayazy.Last few Forgeguard, Bastion Seneschal and the Devout finish off the Galleon. Sadness. Vilmon goes super unkillable.
Merc 5: Ragman causes a Martydom, Kayazy kill the book, Gorman blinds the jack, Risen cause another Martyrdom from the Seneschal, Alexia creates a Thrall. Thrall charges Harby, hits and just kills.
Player Grading
Time Management: 6, had a plan each turn but slow in movement.
Scenario Awareness: 6, could have put more scenario pressure on (Attacks on the objective, more effective zone clering on the right.
Spacing and Placement: 4, allowed Galleon to die and wasted Kell. more spaced Deployent cpould have allowed better option on Harby feat turn.
Target Priority: 5, mostly good but wasted Galleon attacks on Piper and the Book when it was in the trees.
Effectiveness: 7, mostly decent math with some backup plans.
Cool: 7, a few mental errors and avoidable mistakes.

Game 206 - Win - MacBain! vs Harbinger
No Clock
MacBain! - Galleon, Silly Wishnailer, Gorman wondercloak, Kayazy Assassins + UA, Boomhowlers (Min), Alexia, TAC, Kell, Ragman, eEiryss
List alteration, knocking off some solos to put in TAC. MacBain! dies to easily, cloud cover for potential fix.
Harby - Shield Jack, Avatar, Tristan + Revenger, 2x Bastions, Incinerators, Choir, Hierophant,
Menoth 1: Lost the die roll, given second. Picked the side with the Linears and the less painful forest. Harby doesn't feat turn 1, stuff jsut advances up instead.
Merc 1: Everything runs up, maximum spread engaged. fail Safe on Galleon, Countermeasures on Boomies for reasons. Eiryss is on the extreme left.
Left flag dissapears, this is good for me.
Menoth 2: Harby feats, everything moves up.
Merc 2: Countermeasures gets dropped. Boomies get out of the way, one dies to the feat. Galleon runs to the right. MacBain feats, mainly on Kayazy, who then charge up and get knocked down. Everything else shuffles back, aside from Kell who legs up the right edge and Eiryss who runs far back.
Menoth 3: Bastions move in, Avatar uses Gaze of Menoth and lumbers into the forest. Right side Bastions charge, getting a Boomie and damaging the Galleon a little.Redeemer shots go poorly.
Merc 3: Ragman Dark Fields, MacBain Jackhammers the Galleon to get rid of two Bastions. Galleont hen moves up to the flag and kills of the other remaining Bastions on the right. Kayazy stand up, mini-feat and jam in. Boomies run to the middle flag, a Thrall pops up and charges the centrally contesting Incinerator. Harby Martys to stop the contesting model from dying. Kell kills a Choir.
Mercs go to 1 CP.
Menoth 4: Vassal kills Kell! Sadness. Infantry try to clear out Kayazy with minimal success.
Mercs go to 2 CP.
Merc 4: Galleon runs in, MacBain gets to the right Flag and clouds appear everywhere. Harby Martyrs many times to save the middle flag.
Mercs go to 4 CP.
Menoth 5: Avatar takes out most of the Galleon before conceding.
Player Grading
Time Management: 8, did activations in a timely manner, always had a plan to execute.
Scenario Awareness: 9, won strongly on scenario.
Spacing and Placement: 8, good matchups, spacing stopped early casualties to Redeemer rockets.
Target Priority: 7, wasn't placed ot put attacks on Harby, but got several Choir members.
Effectiveness: 8, good diuce math used throughout, backup plans for the most vital activations (Clearing flag on the right)
Cool: 9, no issues

Game 205 - Loss - eMagnus vs eBorka
No Clock
eMagnus Tier 4 Bad Seeds - Defender, Renegade, 2x Nomads, Rangers, Sword Knights (Max) + UA + Nomad, Sword Knights (Max), Saxon, Kell, Orin
eBorka - Mulg, Rok, 2x Axers, Moses, Krielstone + UA, Kriel Warriors + UA + 3x Caber Throwers, Fell Caller Hero
Given second. Turn 1, Orin runs out of the way. Magnus gets pushed twice, then charges up under feat. Nomads run up. Rangers on the far left, Kell on the far right.
Left flag disappears, unfortunate but not the end of the world.
Troll 2: Borka feats (Stealth, various models cause stationary after being hit by a melee attack)
Bad Seed 2
Troll 3
Bad Seed 3
Troll 4
Bad Seed 4
Troll 5
Bad Seed 5
Troll 6 (No Pic)
Bad Seed 6
Troll 7 (No Pic)
Bad Seeds 7
Troll 8:
Looong game. Magnus as a troll drop appears to be quite good. Not being fully conscious of Borkas feat caused some problems. Note fo rhte future: Against slow lists, going first is probably the better case for a turn 2 feat.
Player Grading
Time Management: 7, always had a plan but activation heavy list.
Scenario Awareness: 8, made numerous decent scenario plays.
Spacing and Placement: 5, decent overall, early misplace of a Nomad cost an early control point which would have won the game earlier. Alas.
Target Priority: 9, got numerous attacks into the stones and killed off the unit, got both character heavies when the opportunity presented itself. Only improvement would have been different order of attacks from the ambushing swordsmen on the Caber thrower on turn 2.
Effectiveness: 8, used good maths for the most part, usually with back ups.
Cool: 8, screwed up forgetting Borkas feat grants stealth, good otherwise.

Games 201,2,3,4 - 1 Win/3 Losses - 50pt SR
50 SR, Superseries Qualifier
Deathclock
Bart Polygamy - 2x Galleon, Wrongeye + Snapjaw + Bullsnapper, Aiyanna + Holt, Tinker, Dougal
MacBain! - Galleon, Silly Wishnailer, Gorman wondercloak, Kayazy Assassins + UA, Boomhowlers (Min), Alexia, Orin, Saxon, Kell, Ragman, eEiryss
Game 1
Jeff with the Ret (Always Ret for round one in Sydney, not sure what's going on there).
It's Issyria or eVyros with Griffins. There's no way he'll drop Griffons, just as there is no way I'll drop Bart, the selections were inevitable.
Lost the roll, given second, picked the side without the forest as I have more Pathfinder issues than him and there are hills on the other side. Marginal differences in this match up though.
Feated on bottom of 1 and ran those Kayazy up. Lessons have been learnt!
Issyria waits out the feat turn, then feats back to kill things in the mosh pit.
After both sides have lost a fair chunk of infantry, Hyperion charges in on Galleon, taking out a side. Opposing Eiryss runs up for the Arcane Interference nonsense. Gorman rust bombs, Ragman Dark Shrouds, MacBain! uses Jackhammer to badly the Hyperion and throws Countermeasures from the vastly reduced Kayazy to Alexia. Alexia then charges in and finishes the Hyperion off. Galleon then walks up and kills some of MHSF. Glorious.
Discordia, MHA and MHSF try to finish Galleon off. All fail and Ret get chewed away.
After clearing out the last guy in the zone, Objective is killed and MacBain! Dominates away.
My clock on the left.
Player Grading
Time Management: 8, no issues but didn't move ahead either.
Scenario Awareness: 8, won out on scenario, moved on it when appropiate.
Spacing and Placement: 8, right match ups in place.
Target Priority:7, attacked appropriate models.
Effectiveness: 8, used good dice math.
Cool: 7, no issues but reduced mental state from night before.
Grade: A (46)
Game 2
Loud Chris, eIrusk or eSorscha. Didn't have a good handle on this matchup, that was not a pairing I was expecting. In hindsight eIrusk was the necessary drop for the armour cracking, as Bart was my likely choice without a Butcher3 to deal with. Irusk had all the Pikes, Sorscha had the WGI.
Lost roll, given first turn, ran on one, didn't move far enough on two, jammed out of zone and lost. Completely spaced on Irusks feat knocking off Speed. Did random shots when turn 2 I should have just gotten my Galleons toeing hte zones, in IFP charge range but then able to hopefully kill some important stuff. Ternion clouds were an issue.
Would MacBain!, my nominal Khador drop have been better?
Distinctly....maybe? Feat keeps me going for a turn, but I don't out-attrition. Thought to be given.
Player Grading
Time Management: 7, no issues.
Scenario Awareness: 1, sat back and lost.
Spacing and Placement: 7, match ups inevitable.
Target Priority: 7, issues with clouds reduced options, made all right picks.
Effectiveness: 6, average dice math used.
Cool: 7, calm but misanalysed situation.
Grade:C (28)
Game 3
Aaron with eDenny or pSkarre. Expecting the Denny drop on Close Quarters, I defaulted to Bart. After the game I thought this might have been an error, in hindsight I think MacBain! is a bad match to, I hold for a turn but Dark Guidance easily kills the Kayazy after feat turn. There was no Hag so I do get the feat turn. Imph.
Early on snipe out the no-sleeping-on-job chicks, so feat in a relevant manner.
Galleon gets Backlash, Satyxis slowly feedback Bart to death. Sadness.
Player Grading
Time Management: 8, no issues but wasn't going to pull ahead.
Scenario Awareness: 5, dead scenario game.
Spacing and Placement: 6, opening moves decent, then downhill.
Target Priority: 8, good choices overall, difficulties later on.
Effectiveness: 7, used reasonable dice math, some poor choices overall.
Cool: 5, struggled what to do after opening phase.
Grade: B (39)
Game 4
Evan with Gorten and Durgen. Didn't realise at selection, but he was list locked into Gorten. Wouldn't have changed selection of MacBain!
Given first turn, on turn 2 I feat and jam the Kayazy in.
After attritioning for a while, I get an Eiryss bomb on the Earthbreaker. Kell and Orin fail to get rid of two hammer dorfs as tough rolls from the Piper keep them blocking the Galleons run. Forced to use both Gorman and Ragman to get it done. Galleon then runs to the Earthbreaker and gets Jackhammered four times, taking out a side. Those toughs saved both its life and/or it be blinded.
Gorten charges up, feat drags MacBain up and Counter Measured Kayazy away. Earthbreaker toddles forward and kills MacBain with its final attack.
Evan had 37 seconds on his clock to my 20 minutes.
Player Grading
Time Management: 9, pulled ahead on time.
Scenario Awareness: 7, aware of scenario, jammed on it as appropriate.
Spacing and Placement: 8, good match ups.
Target Priority: 8, attacked appropriate models.
Effectiveness: 7, good dice math with lesser back up plans.
Cool: 8, no issues.
