Game 90 - Win - Arkadius vs pKrueger

Results:Win
60 - 29 - 1

35 Point Incursion

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min)
pKrueger - Gnarlhorn Satyr, Woldwarden, Gorax, Woldwatcher, Woldwyrd, 2x Warwolf, Lord of the Feast, Shifting Stones

Summary:

I lose the die roll, go first. Lord of the Feast on the far left.

 My opening move in.

Feated to advance up, Rabo's positioned to kill Lord of the Feast and a stone and ding the Gorax. Brigands killed another stone, failed to do much to the Wardogs. Warhogs then charged, removing a blocking stone, the Woldwatcher and the Satyr.

Krueger attempts assassination, white points are his feat. Woldwarden throws Warhog clear, WoldWatcher moves up and shoots up Arkadius, who tranfers it away, likewise to lightning attacks from Krueger.

Krueger then gets Crippling Grasped, Forced Evo Warhog chews through his two transfers then hits and kills.

Performance: 9/10.

Game 89 - Loss - Arkadius vs pVayl

Results: Loss
59 - 29 - 1

50 Point Fire Support (2 Neutral flags, one aligned Objective each)

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
pVayl - Shredder, Scythean, Ravagore, Typhon, Seraph, Raptors (Max), Spell Martyr, 2x Forsaken

Summary:

Deployment, that's the Raptors on the right. RaBo's are split up into 3/1.

Forced Evo went on the rightmost Warhog.

Vayl feated, killed two centre Warhogs then ll the beat repelled back, the Shredder ran in to block the last Warhog. Road Hog went for Typhon, wasn't ever going to do enough to kill though. RaBo's go nuts on Seraph, leave it on two hit points.

Road Hog is moved by Rampage spell out of the way. Raptors shoot Arkadius, who is finished off by Typhon moving up and spraying away.

Performance: 5/10. Was at a loss of what to do, but don't see alternatives at this point. Possibly Brigands should have just flat out been skirmished in front of the Hogs, Heavies including Road Hog all moved to the left of the centre obstruction.

Game 88 - Timed Out - Arkadius vs Bart

 Result: Timed Out
59 - 28 - 1

50 Point Destruction

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
Bart - Galleon, Vanguard, Wrongeye/Snapjaw + Bullsnapper, Aiyana + Holt, Nyss (Max), 2x Kayazy Eliminators

Summary:

Deployment, nothing fancy.

After Turn 1 -  Everything moves up

After Turn 2 -  Bart feats, delaying the alpha strike. Roadhog does some burning, gets Aiyana. Brigands get locked in by one of the Kayazy pairs after being shot up by the Nyss. Snapjaw and Eliminators get stuck into RaBo's.

After Turn 3 - One Warhog gets dragged in by the Galleon, Roadhog kills a bunch of Nyss. Feat used to cycle Warhog Fury and get one in charge range. Spiny Growth damages all the hogs, though they get healed to.

After Turn 4 -  Two Warhogs get killed by Galleon, which is in turn brought down by a Slaughterhouser. Everything else stays relatively static, Bone grinders get placed sacrificially to stop Vanguard getting to the Doc.

Rules error - Slaughterhousers remove from play, wreck marker shouldn't be there.

Midway Turn 5 - Time out before my turn, Roadhog killed by a lucky Nyss, Bart cowering in far corner.

Planned actions at the time: Warhog runs over Linear obstacle to engage Vanguard and a Nyss, Riles for another 3 Fury. Arkadius moves up, hits Snapjaw with a Crippling Grasp from max range, set to Dominate zone, casts Forced Evo on Warhog, maltreats it for a fury. Targ moves to block a charge from the Nyss on Arkadius, Ancillary attacks on Warhog. Slaughterhousers do a charge action, two into the Bullsnapper over the non-existent Wreck marker, two into Holt. Brigands probably fail to kill Kayazy.

Odds are Vanguard doesn't do much, I'll lose a Brigand and the pair of Slaughterhousers that go after Holt. Bart probably has to charge in to deal witht he Warhog, if not I'll probably have it on scenario, otherwise it depends on if I lose the Warhog or not.

Performance: 8/10. Overall I think I had it. Bart Galleon is horrific to deal with, realistically needed to devote a warhog and possibly Primal shocks to kill Wrongeye earlier.

Game 87 - Loss - Arkadius vs Rasheth

Result: Loss
59 - 28 - 0

50 Point Destruction

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
Rasheth - 2x Archidons, Gladiator?, Cyclop Shaman, Gatormen Posse (Max), Nihilators (Max), Paingivers, Taskmaster, Aptimus Marketh

Summary:

Deployment - As above, beast face off in the centre, Nihlators are to the left against the Brigands, Gatormen are on the right against the Slaughterhouses and RaBo's. Rasheth is Proxied as a Legion beast with the snow base.

After Turn 1 - Everything advances, Warhogs set up for the movement advance. Archidon threat range is underestimated, Hogs should be further from them (12?)

After Turn 2 - Disastrous. Archidons each got a half a bunch of buffs including Sprint, Rasheth feated. Resulting Archodin attacks killed the left Warhog and the Roadhog. RaBo's got stuck into the Gatormen, doing not a great deal. Brigands kill a bunch of Nihlators. Warhogs killed one Archidon.

After Turn 3 - All beasts dead, sad face. Concede.

Performance: 5/10. Underestimated threat range of Archidons and Posse. The Posse wasn't so bad, but against this set up the feat isn't really there for the usual movement shenanigans, it's Fury management.

The Brigands should have run and spread out, forming a an obstacle to the Archidon charges in front of the Heavy Hogs, Slaughterhousers should have had room to run tot he left of the ruin. RaBo's possibly would have been more useful as an alpha strike against the Nihilators, or at least tieing them up allowing more Brigand shots.

Game 86 - Win - Arkadius vs pKrueger

Result: Win
59 - 27 - 0

35 Point Close Quarters

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min),
pKrueger - Gnarlhorn Satyr, Woldwarden, Gorax, Woldwatcher, Woldwyrd, 2x Warwolf, Lord of the Feast, Shifting Stones

Summary: Won the die roll, went second. Mirror board, an impassable building in opposite corners and impassable wall pieces in the other corner. Long linear obstacle in middle of table.

Left flank essentially ignored, Krueger and beasts plonked down in the centre, facing off Arkadius and most of the units, Warhogs set to run to the right side of the centyre wall. Targ and RaBo's on the right. They were counter deployed by the Advance Deploy WarWolves and the Lord of the Feast, Stones went in front of the Krueger lot.

Opening turns spent advancing, Targ abandons RaBo's to avoid a Lord of the Feast assassination. Warhogs run out to the right side of the board centre line, trying to threaten past the wall.

Turn two happens.

Woldwyrd heavily damaged the front hog after moving up to the corner of the building, Forced Evo giving it boosted rolls (Boosts against models with upkeeps). Circle beasts advance up behind the wall. Lord of the feast teleports to back RaBo, misses it, Warwolves charge RaBo's doing little. A little lightning happened, but didn't do much. Satyr did a massive Slam to the damaged hog, ramming it into the building and leaving it only with a few boxes of spirit.

RaBo's frenzied, killed the Wolfs and damaging the Lord of the Feast.
Centre Warhog trampled over wall, wailed on Woldwarden doing a bit of damage, fell just out of melee range of the Woldwatcher, the intended target (Softer light beast so an actual chance of killing it). Targ spun around (Short distance from Arkadius in pic) so that his threat range wasn't on the second Hog, though ended up being an unnecessary precaution, healed the heavily damaged Forced Evo Beast. Evo Beast sacked move, wailed on Satyr and killed it. Last Warhog ran up engaged the back of the Woldwarden.
Brigands shoot and kill one of the Shifting Stones.
Arkadius activates, heals, feats. Advanced Hog does a little more to the Woldwarden. Between them the two other Hogs kill the Woldwatcher. RaBo's mostly don't use feat, except for one of them finishing off the Lord of the Feast.

Woldwarden throws Hog over the wall into the Brigands. Other remaining beasts charge a different Warhog, do inconsequential damage. Woldwatcher uses Stoneform power.
Krueger goes for the assassination. Casts fly spell on self, charges a Brigand, kills him. Casts Lightning on Targ, kills him, most of the Bone Grinders and hits Arkadius once. Feats, Arkadius bounces all damage to a RaBo. Krueger runs out of Fury.

Warhog turns around, takes no damage from the Krueger feat template, boosts headbut and misses, boosts Cleaver, hits, boosts damage and rolls the exact amount to kill.

Performance: 8/10. Decent, but there were errors from me that weren't exploited, specifically the RaBo placement, careful Warwolf placement would have caused some internal ruckus' and the Satyr should have just hit rather than slammed. Warhogs weren't focused on, though the lack of ranged abilities affected that. Woldwarden should have thrown Warhog the other direction, forcing the Brigands to be the attempted assassins, likely requiring a Crippling Grasp attempt from Arkadius. Likely Arkadius would have jsut fled to his final board location and gotten surrounded by the RaBo's, as I was winning the attrition war fairly well.

If I was the opposition: Make the attrition play. Warden maxes out on Fury to kill warhog instead of throwing him away, if he doesn't quite make it use Watcher to finish off, otherwise use Stone form and shield Warden from the other Hogs. Gorax moves up and toward the left. Stones shift to block Warhogs in and be annoying. Krueger feat used to kill off most infantry, should be able to get Targ, the Grinders and most of the Brigands. Lightning if the Warhogs are far enough way, defense spell or hold Fury otherwise.
Farrow next move: Brigands have to remove stones, likely to get at least one. Warhogs likely kill Watcher, though Stone form makes it require some damage spikes. RaBo's split up, running into a rough circle around Krueger's position, ready to deal with him or recieve hits from Arkadius transferring.
Circle next turn: Warden does as much damage to the Warhogs as possible, Gorax acts as backup. Odds are killing one, heavily damaging other. Krueger spams lightning spell and attacks to try to kill the RaBo's, likely coming down to the dice. This turn either enough is killed, or it's game over.

Game 85 - Win - Dr Arkadius vs 3Kreoss

Result: Win
58 - 27 - 0

50 Point Ammunition Run

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
3Kreoss - Reckoner, Avatar, Revenger, 3 Wracks, Choir, Exemplar Errants + UA, Exemplar Vengers, 2x Hierophant

Summary: Deployment pictured below, Menoth won the die roll and went first. All Razor Boars are on the far right, Bone Grinders are behind Arkadius. White Menoth Jack is the avatar, the blank large bases are the cavalry, 3Kreoss is the black cavalry model.

Opening turns both sides run up, a wrack blows up and thats about it. Warhogs lined up for the feat advance, Road Hog stays on the left, RaBo's don't run their full distance to stay in Targs command. Slaughterhousers swing in to the middle to hide Arkadius, who maltreated and cast heal to keep the Fury amount down to 7.

Menoth surprises me with some outright charges, the cav and Avatar charge up into the Warhogs, though don't do to well. The Errants shoot at the Brigands, doing little. Everything else advances up, 3Kreoss stays in the back.

The RaBo's run in to the right, where they stay the entire game frenzying and slowly chewing on the Revenger. The Avatar gets Headbutted to avoid his admonition esque escape spell (Move away after a damaging hit). The other WarHog on the right hammers into him. The left Warhoghits some Cav, the Road Hog moves up. Feat happens. Avatar ends up on 4 health, objective on 2 health, some Cav die, the Road Hog charges up, the RaBo's begin the bouncing off of the Revenger's Repel shield. Brigands advance, killing the far objective, which kills four of the Errants, another of whom gets plinked. Slaughters and Grinders move up.
On one control point.

Remaining Cav charge into middle, do little to the Hogs. Errants mess up the Road Hog, but don't quite kill it. Reckoner charges into centre, misses most of its attacks. A Hierophant toes into the zone.

Most of the Hogs Frenzy, Avatar dies as does an Errant and a Cav. RaBo's bounce away. Slaughters kill centre Objective and the second last Cav (Removing objective from play so it doesn't explode). Only non-frenzied Warhog advances into Reckoner and kills it. Bone Grinders charge last cav but don't kill him. RaBo's actually get some Choir. Primal Shock kills Hierophant, Arkadius enters corner of zone.

Kreoss charges a War Hog and kills it, weird magic spell attack hits Arkadius who throws the damage on a hog. Little else happens, win on scenario with 6 CP's.

Performance: 8/10. Centre objective shouldn't have been attacked so early, had the Cav decided to attack it all the War Hogs would have been set on fire from the scenario rules, which would have been bad with some damage spiking rolls.

Jacks moved in piecemeal, while I had the scenario objective. Errants should have been on the other flank to threaten my objective and kill RaBo's, which weapon masters are easily capable of doing.

Road Hog - Survived for the first time! Still under utilising.

War Hog - Solid as always, Headbutt power attack used well.

RaBo's - There best match. Held up Revenger, killed some Choir, in a longer game would have started munching support staff.

Brigands - Excelled in this scenario. 15 armour and 15 health objective easily killed by Pig Irons, Tough prayer kept them in.

Slaughterhousers - RFP was there right when it was needed.

Bone Grinders - +2 to spells useful on first turn as always.

Game 84 - Win - Dr Arkadius vs Kaelyssa

Result: Win
57 - 27 - 0

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
Kaelyssa - Griffon (Light, reach, fast), Hydra (Heavy, Chain attack, Battery), Phoenix (Heavy, combust aura), Other Heavy (Shield, Gun?), Mage Hunter Strike Force + Attachment, 2x Mage Hunters, pEiyrss, Stormfall Archers, Arcanist, Sniper

Summary: Lost Die Roll, opponent chose table side, I went first.

All Big Hogs in the centre, Road Hog on the right end of the line. Targ and RaBo's on the left, a forest between them and the Big Hogs. Brigands on the right, Slaughters, Arkadius and Grinders behind the forest/Big Hogs.

Against RaBo's was the MHSF, Mage Hunter SOlo's and Eiryss on the far right, everything else in the centre.

Opening turns are countering advances, RaBo's run far up the left to threaten the MHSF, Targ behind hiding in the forest. War Hogs ran up in typical formation, favouring the left side of the Board. Road Hog heads off to the right. Arkadius gets distance from Grinders, casts Aggresion and Forced Evo on the front War Hog. Other units move up behind.

MHSF shoot the RaBo's, damage a pair of them severely. Everything moves up. Weirdly the PHoenix plods into the forest. Mage Hunter solos and Eiryss move up.

Left flag dissapears.

Rabo's on the left mainly frenzy, charging into the MHSF.
Arkadius feats, the Road Hog heads off toward Eiryss. Warhogs all charge up, RaBo's attack some MHSF. Arkadius then charges the back Warhog to advance up, sits on six fury. Roadhog charges Eiryss, misses. Warhogs charge in, one badly messes up a Jack, another casts Overtake and kills a MHSFer, last one uses Overtake but fails to get anywhere meaningful. Infantry advance in a block around Arkadius.

MHSF and RaBo's lock in for the rest of the game. One Warhog goes down, eventually the Road Hog gets killed by a Mage Hunter solo. Piece trades end as per below, the War Hogs kill the centre heavies and get to Kaelyssa, hitting and killing her.

Performance: 5/10. Didn't do poorly, but should have lost. Arkadius got way to close, Kaelyssa realistically has a threat zone of death on the Doctor unless he has six fury on him, not counting other things attacking him.

Road Hog - NOT A FLANKER DAMMIT. Brigands should have headed toward Eiryss/Solo's, Road Hog should have been reaching up to set Kaelyssa and the Jacks on fire, or purging out at the MHSF. Should have been moved with the redeploy Tier benefit.

War Hog - Solid as always. Always needs to boost to hit casters that aren't knocked down or Crippling Grasped.

RaBo's - Worked well, bonus speed and feat makes them awesome. Held up and killed half of the MHSF, made their points tactically and strategically.

Brigands - Hog Wild really isn't worth more than fearless + tough.

Slaughterhousers - Didn't get to do too much this time around. The potential is there.

Bone Grinders - Proved their worth, solely for several applications of increased spell range.

Game 83 - Loss - Arkadius vs eMakeda

Result: Loss
56 - 27 - 0

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
3Makeda + Exalted Court - Tiberion (Character Heavy), Archidon (Flying Heavy), Cyclops Shaman,  Cataphract Incidiarii, Tyrant Commander and Standard, Aptimus Marketh, Bog Trog Ambushers (Max), Paingivers, Willbreaker

Summary:
Deployment below. I won the dice roll and went second. Bog Trogs go into Ambush and will pop out on my left.

The Road Hog dies early on to said Ambushers. One of the Exalted Court runs in to ruin the Warhog set up, he gets Primal Shocked, but the Warhogs are out of position for the feat and do self charging in order to get distance up the field. They then charge Tiberion and Archidon, Tiberion dies and Makeda gets engaged (Archidon gets missed to many times). The Brigands got shot up by the Incidarii, end up briefly engaging the Trogs. The RaBo's and Targ get lost on the right flank (Moved Targ to far turn one, was outside Arkadius' Control). They end up killing a Paingiver and getting massacred at the end of the game.

Warhogs get killed by Archidon/Makeda. Brigands get ginished by Bogs, Slaughterhousers took some Inderarii casualties, then ended up tying them up in the closing portions of the game.
Out of option, Arkadius charges the Archidon with a Mind Control Serum, you then goes and damages Makeda a bit.

Makeda charges Arkadius, sad times below.

Performance: 2/10. Bleugh. Multitude of mistakes here.

Deployment issues:
* Forgot Ambushers, should have deployed Road Hog on the right side of the back left Ruin
* Shunted Arkadius and Grinders behind the Warhogs, they do need to advance at full pelt

In Game:
* Should have kept Targ and the RaBo's closer Arkadius, the overall idea of getting stuck into the Paingivers could have been more feasible with better positioning.
* Warhog feat timing right, positioning wrong, should have sacrificed Brigands perhaps?

What I did right:
* Primal Shocked the blocker out of the way
* Crippling Grasp on the Cetrati before moving away
* That about it....

Arkadius - Primal Shock still handy, need to get rid of the Khador hang up of deploying the cast close up.

War Hog - Nice cheap strikers, positioning for feat is easily hampered by enemy activity alas.

Road Boars/Targ combo - Could have done so much more...

Road Hog - I need to stop trying to use it as a flanker, it needs screening infantry to survive

Brigands/Grinders/Slaughterhousers - Effectively independent of the Doc, should be run more freestyle than the beasts.

Game 82 - Win Arkadius vs MacBain!

Result: Win
56 - 26 - 0

50 Point Incursion (Three flags, middle one disappeared)

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Roadhog, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Max), Bone Grinders (Min), Slaughterhousers
MacBain! (4*) - Galleon, pAlexia, Steelhead Halbs (Max), Kayazy Assassins (Max) + UA, Wrong Eye and Snapjaw + Bullsnapper, pEiryss, Rhupert

Summary:
Deployment (Left photo, plus Rob).
Mercs opted to go first, Kayazy on the right flank, Halberdiers, Bullsnapper, Galleon, MacBain and assorted Solo's in the centre, Snapjaw and Wrongeye on the left, pEiryss AD on the left side.

Not pictured: Road Hog on the right flank, other side of the forest. Rest of warbeasts lined up, Razor Boars ready to lunge up the left with Targ behind to provide a control area. Brigands, Slaughterhousers and Bone Grinders lined up in that order behind the beasts, Arkadius on the right side to get the Roadhog in his control.

Opening turns both sides advane up, though Mercenaries don't go as far as they could have. Countermeasures goes on the Kayazy, Halberdiers get tough for the whole game. Arkadius feats to run the Gun Boar up and have the Razr Boars kill pEiryss. Anther Razor Boar guts a Kayazy, a Primal Shock only does three damage to the Underboss sadly.

Most of the Razor Boars get killed by various units the next turn, everything advances up. Middle flag has dissapeared, Wrong and Snapjaw leave the Bullsnapper behind to threaten the Left flag. Kayazy advance slowly and spread out.

Two Warhogs charge up, one stays to shield Arkadius. Road Hog kills a Halberdier and three Kayazy, sets the Galleon on fire though it goes out next turn. Two Primal Shocks kill most of Alexia's Risen and leave her on two health (First boosted Primal Shock missed, was saddening, second did 12 odd damage). Slaughters move up as a reserve, Bone Grinders get in the way. Gain two CP's.

Kayazy mini-feat, charge and kill the Roadhog and a couple Bone Grinders. Alexia's Risen attack the Slaughters, she hacks into a Warhog. Snapjaw and Wrong Eye butcher some Brigands. Halbs chare, do little to the middle Warhog. MacBain feats, catching everything important.

Targ uses Ancillary attack to kill a Halberdier on the left most Warhog. Centre two Warhogs trample over the tough units, one gets to MacBain and misses with all attacks, other gets to the Bullsnapper and takes up two thirds of its health. Third Hogs tramples over the Kayazy and sits in the open in front of the Galleon. Slaughters charge, two get to Alexia and miss. Brigands flail at Snap Jaw, tough out Wrong Eye. Arkadius moves away from the Kayazy, casts heal.

Bullsnapper frenzied, did little. Alexia pops some Risen next to Arkadius, they miss, she misses her attack on the Warhog. Galleon moves up, kills Warhog in the open and puts the one on MacBain to minimal heal. MacBain then kills him. Wrongeye/Snapjaw kill almost all the Brigands, who pass their command. Kayazy sit on the right flag. Remaining stuff kills some Slaughterhouses.

Final turn (Picture above), last Warhog engaging the BullSnapper moves over to McBain, boosts the attack rolls and kills him.

Performance: 4/10. Outplayed for the most part, Road Hog was poorly placed, but given the existence of Countermeasures wasn't going to have a fun time regardless. Should have held Razor Boars further back and not feated first turn, pEiryss didn't matter that much, waiting a turn could have allowed War Hogs to engage more models as a proper Alpha strike and the Razors could have been positioned to kill off Wrong Eye before his feat turn.

Had I Been MacBain: Would have played the Kayazy much more aggresively, got Snapjaw/Wrong Eye nearer to MacBain, have MacBain move up closer, run the Galleon first two turns to melee the War Hogs/shoot the Brigands. Run Halberds nearer to the left flag with Alexia as a second wave after the Halbs have been attritioned away.

Arkadius - Primal Shock would have been gold had it rolled better to kill the Kayazy and finish Alexia. Feat was wasted. Aggresion wasn't optimal this game. Maltreatment/healing use finally happened. The Tier bonuses continue to be good, though ADing the troops does have an attration.

3x Warhogs - Mainstray of the army, got the caster kill, not a great deal really going on.

Roadhog - Poor first outing, Countermeasures and charging Kayazy aren't great to deal with. Misplayed rather than being a poor model.

4x Razor Boars - Handy first strike and mobile Primal Shock deliverers, wasted this game.

Targ - Forget to move him turn 1 limited his intended use, but Razor Boars were thrown away regardless. Ancillary attack got used, was handy.

Brigands (Max) - Used Hog Wild to attack Wrongeye/Snapjaw, should have used Tough/Fearless prayer instead. Stats aren't great, but still a useful unit.

Bone Grinders (Min) - Useful as bodies, forgot compeltely about the Animus casting, may have allowed option I didn't consider, especially with the early death of the Road Hog they could have given Sprint to the Warhogs, could have moved the one that got stuck in the open to block the Galleon and save the Warhog on MacBain.

Slaughterhousers - Potential, had one of the two hit Alexia on MacBain eat turn it would have been gold (4d6 damage with a remove from play effect? Gold in theory on this match up). READ THE CARD. HAD POWERFUL CHARGE BEEN APPLIED THEY WOULD HAVE KILLED ALEXIA.

Game 81 - Win - Arkadius vs Ashlynn

Result: Win
55 - 26 - 0

35 Point Process of Elimination (Two Zones, one Objective in each, all Neutral).

Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, 4x Razor Boars, Targ, Brigands (Min), Bone Grinders (Max)
Ashlynn - Galleon, 2x Mule, Lyissa, Aiyana + Holt

Summary: Mercs went first, Jacks and Ashlynn in the centre, Aiyana and Holt on my left with Lyassa ADing in front of them.
Brigands were all alone on the Right Flank, Razor Boars were all on the left and everything else was a clump in the middle facing the Jacks.

Mercs ran everything up. Three of the Razor Boars ran up, as did the Warhogs. Arkadius moved up, cast his upkeeps and Feated, only activating the Razor Boars, who killed Aiyana and Holt and tied up Lyissa. The RaBo left behind activated after a failed Feat Frenzy charge, moved up to block the Mules.

Ashlynn Quickens herself, moves up and kills the advanced Razor Boar. Feats. Mules advance, kill one Razor Boar and wound another. Galleon damages one Warhog, but fails to drag it in, it advances from Hyper Aggresive.

Front pair of Warhogs charge Galleon, heavily damage it, multiple misses due to Ashlynn's feat. Brigands charge right side Objective, put it down to four health. Razor Boar sticks in to a Mule, doing little. Other Razor Boar kills Lyissa. Bone Grinders screen Arkadius, give him spell range. Arkadius Crippling Grasps the nearest Mule from just outside Ashlynns feat range. Remaining Warhog runs up to the Grasped Mule.

Galleon and Ashlynn kill a Warhog between them, the Mules do a little damage but not much.

Razor Boar on the Mule Frenzies for very little. Brigands Hog Wild the Galleon, putting the Galleon on three health and destroying the Objective. Bone Grinders put extra range on Arkadius spells. Warhog activates, kills Grasped Mule. Arkadius advances, puts Crippling Grasp on Ashlynn. Warhog on the Galleon moves over to Ashlynn, boosts to hit rolls and kills her with the Cleavers.

Performance: 7/10. Ran lots of Fury up, early Feat meant no special removal, but ultimately worth it for killing Aiyana, Holt and eventually Lyissa. I think Ashlynn is happier without the Galleon.

Arkadius - Tier 4 + Feat + Razor Boars can be gold, though I don't expect it to work ever again.

Warhogs - Solid and reliable, Forced Evolution takes one of them to another level though.

Razor Boars - Absolute Gold as solo hunters, and 14 health/armour is decent

Bone Grinders - Invaluable this time around for the +2 range to spells, this time being meatshields was strictly a secondary affair.

Brigands - Worked out, in this list they are just there for contesting/claiming, which they had a decent go at. Hog Wild is great for charge options.

Targ - Did nothing, needed to be closer to the Warhogs, but then would have probably died to the AoE's.

Game 79 and 80 - Wins - eMagnus vs eMagnus/Dr Arkadius vs Kaelyssa

Result: Win
54 - 26 - 0

50 Point Rally Point (Two aligned circle zones, two objectes at the AD line, can be used to contest).

eMagnus - Galleon, Renegade, Vanguard, Boomhowler Co (Min), Kayazy Assassins (Max) + UA, Gorman, Orin Midwinter, Sylyss, Aiyana and Holt
eMagnus - Mule, 2x Renegade, Buccaneer, Thor marshaling 2x Grundback Blasters, Cylena + Nyss (Max), Orin Midwinter, Dougal MacNaile, Aiyana and Holt, eEiryss, Blythe and Bull

Summary: Not our finest hour, it was a slow slug fest.

The left was the Boomhowlers slowly being ground down by the Nyss and Blythe + Bull, the right was the Kayazy running up and killing the Buccaneer after a few got hit by the Mule.

The centre was a clash between all the Jacks and the specialists (Eiryss, Gorman, the Orins, etc.).

He had most of the table from running up turn 1, he mainly cast Mobility. I mainly cast Calamity, using it with Arcan Secrets against Jacks made it reliable, combined with Aiyana's Kiss allowed lesser attacks to mess up the Jacks. Eiryss was put on 1 hit point early, then took multiple turns to die, just sitting there denying everyone from allocating to the Jacks.

Opposing Magnus feated first, holding me back from Advancing Magnus/Galleon to contest things. Eiryss finally died to Orin Lightning bolting the Galleon then bouncing in. Gorman got a Black Oil on virtually on the Jacks, one Blaster was missed, which moved up to blast Gorman only for the shot to be Shield Guarded to the Vanguard, pretty much its only contribution. He was then killed by a pair of Nyss.

Final stage was my Magnus moving up and feating, the Kayazy charged in hacking down Aiyana, Orin and the Galleon killing Thor and Blythe. Opponent conceded as his Magnus had no ability to escape.

Performance: 5/10. Was slow and brutal. Galleon barely moved, held up Eiryss and an opposing Renegade. My Renegade fired early to try to kill Orin, Dougal and Aiyana, but scattered and was what put Eiyrss on 1 wound.

25 Close Quarters (Two aligned flags).

Dr Arkadius (Tier 4) - 3x Warhogs, Targ, Bone Grinders (Max), Brigands (Min)
Kaelyssa - Hydra, Griffon, Phoenix, 2x Mage Hunters, pEiyrss, 2x Arcanists

Summary:Ret went first, Jacks vs Hogs. Hunters vs Brigands on the left. Eiryss just hanging around.

Arkadius cast Forced Evo and Aggression, kept up Evo all game and Aggression for most of it. Ret had just advanced up. Everything Farrow runs up beside the Doctor.

Two Ret Jacks charged into Forced Evo Hog, weren't loaded with enough focus and didn't kill him. Mage Hunters charged Brigands, caused one to Tough twice. Eiryss moved to flag.
Warhogs moved up and killed both Jacks, Brigands killed one of the Hunters. Eiryss missed.
Arkadius feats to clear fury off a Hog, two Grinders are sacrificed to direct the Frenzies.

A few turns of screwing around happen. Two Hogs get to Kaelyssa, knock her down to seven health, after only hitting with one of many many many boosted attacks (9's to hit, 6 boosted attacks and 2 unboosted. One Hit. The hell.). Remaining Jack throws a Warhog to kill Targ, Eiryss runs from Grinders (Free strikes miss), shoots at Arkadius but misses. Remaining Warhog on Kaelyssa killed by her. She feats so can't be charged.

Warhog that was thrown, only one near Kaelyssa, frenzies and stands up. Arkadius Primal Shocks through it, boosting to hit and damage, does eight points to kill Kaelyssa.

Performance: 6/10. For first time with Fury did alright. Warhogs missing 6 boosted attacks needing 9's was less than impressive, got their in the end.

Arkadius - Won out, Crippling Grasp is definitely a last gasp spell. Forced Evo and feat are nice.
War Hog - Defensive stats aren't great, but they hit reasonably. Opening Tier speed boost invaluable.
Bone Grinders - Became valuable as bodies rather than for their abilities, likely would have been different had a Warhog died at some point to grant them the animus to cast
Brigands - Prayers are nice, and it's good to have a unit for the model count/Scenario affecting

Game 78 - Win - pVlad vs Ravyn

Result: Win
52 - 26 - 0

50 Point Incoming (Two Rectangle zones, one friendly, two objectives each on the centre line 17 from the edge).
League Doom Reaver Escort Model (Grants Deathbound)

pVlad - Conquest, Great Bears, Doomreavers + UA, Drakhun, Kayazy (Max) + UA, 2x Mortars, Mechanics (Min)
Ravyn - Banshee (Heavy with gun/blades), eEiryss, Mage Hunter Strikeforce + UA, House guard Halberdiers + UA + Souless Escort (WA), Mage Hunter Infiltrators + UA, Sylyss Wishnailer, Heavy Weapon Master Infantry+ UA + Souless Escort (WA)

Summary: Scenario didn't do much beyond splitting. There was a hill dead set in the middle of the board, which destroyed the plan of Mortars popping the Objective turn two (Arcing fire doesn't ignore terrain).

Doomies, Conquest, Drakhun, Mechanics and one mortar squared off against the Halberdiers, Banshee and the opposing heavy infantry. Vlad and the Bears hung out in the middle, the Kayazy and one Mortar faced off against the Mage Hunters. Eiryss and Ravyn wandered around in the centre.

Deathbound Doomies wear out the Infantry, as well two high rolls then the Counter charging Drakhun killing the Banshee.Ultimately it was a meatgrinder with Deathbound giving me the edge.

Om the left the Strike force killed the mortar with ease, then clashed with the Kayazy, eventually the strike force was worn down.

Ravyn had to go for a Hailmary, using a variety of movement shenanigans to clear a path for an Infiltrator to get the charge on Vlad, doing little damage. Ravyn was then attack by the last three Kayazy, who did little, then was smashed by the Great Bears.

Performance: 8/10. About right, placing Vlad at risk of a complicated Hailmary wasn't necessary, but he ended up being safe enough. Mage Hunters ignoring power fields is troubling.

Game 77 - Win - Karchev vs pThagrosh

Result: Win
51 - 26 - 0

25pt Chemical Reaction (Two aligned square zones, two aligned objectives at advance deploy lines)
League effect: All living models heal D3 damage at the start of their turn.

Karchev - Behemoth, Devastator, Kodiak
pThagrosh - 2x Scythean, Shredder, Ogrun War dudes + UA

Summary:Kodiak marked as prey by Ogruns.

Khador pick table side, Legion go first. Warbeasts and Thags face off the left, Ogrun on the right. Khador places to the right of centre to avoid a hill.

Legion all run up. Khador Tow, move up to middle, Behemoth aims and kills an Ogrun, Kodiak moves leftward around the objective away from the Ogrun.

Legion advance again, Scytheans stagger across my zone, Thag and Shredder stay back, Ogruns run up. Karchev feats, Unearthly rages, moves up and spins around, sprays Ogruns hitting two, knocking one down and killing the UA to get rid of Prey, Devestator placed facing Ogrun, Behemoth the back Scythean, Kodiak not towed. Kodiak charges the nearest Scythean, chain attack headbutts it into the ground and leaves it on one hit point. Devestator charge up, killing an Ogrun. Behemoth charges rear Scythean, kills it then finishes off the one wound knocked down one with a bombard. Other bombard misses Shredder and does a little damage.

Remaining Ogrun charge, one into Behemoth for some damage, one into Devestator for decent damage, knocked down one stands up and swings at Devestator. Shredder charges Kodiak, does little. pThag charges Behemoth, burns whole stack to take out Movement, pops feat and places Scythean to block. Karchev upkeeps tow, casts Unearthly rage, slings Kodiak up to take out Ogrun on the Behemoth, sprays Shredder for some damage, Kodiak kills Ogrun allows Behemoth to walk around Scythean to Thag and punch him to death.

Performance: 8/10.Should not have sprayed Shredder, killing it would have given THag two Fury to transfer. Ended up not being relevant though.

Game 75/6 - Wins - Zerkova vs pSeverius, eIrusk vs eSeverius

Result: 2 Win
50 - 26 - 0

35 Rally Point (Two aligned circles, an objective to destroy each at the advance deploy line)
League effect: All Blast Damage rolls are boosted. Doomreavers get Death bound.

Zerkova - Conquest, Great Bears, Mechanics, Drakhun, Doomreavers + UA (Two Points short)
pSeverius -  Judicator (Collosal), Heavy (Flare gun), Redeemer (Repulsor light), Choir, Knights Exemplar, couple support solo's?

Summary: Forest in the middle, hill face off on the left, fairly open on the right.

Colossal's face off just to the left of centre, the mortar runs up on the Khador hill and stays there all game, the Doomreavers fan out to the right and Zerkova cowers in the middle. Drakhun outflanks on the left. Mortar kills a choir member. Great Bears hang out in forest in the middle, ahead of Zerkova.

The Knights charge up, they kill most of the Doomreavers. Drakhun gets shot of his horse by the Heavy, the Redeemer end up far in front to block the Conquest from getting to the Judicator.

Zerkova moves up, top of turn three feats, gets everything. Hides in back of Forest. Mortar pings heavy for not much, then gets charged by Drakhun for not much. Conquest charges and crushes Redeemer into the ground. Doomreavers, restored by Deathbound, knock Knights down to a single member. Mechanics heal Conquest from the Judicator shots. Great Bears hang in forest.

Judicator tries to get to Conquest, falls short, takes pot shots instead. Heavy moves up. Sevvy counter feats (No focus for Zerkova next turn). Remaining Knight kills the Doomreaver UA (Was supplying the Deathbound).

Conquest moves up to Judicator, punches it for a bit. Great Bears charge, hit it up for a bit and kill a Choir guy. Doomreavers finish off the Knight. Zerkova cowers in forest. Mortar takes out a Choir guy, splashes Sevvy for a little bit.

Judicator and Heavy load up on focus, attack conquest but leave it on about 6 health boxes. Sevvy hides on hill.

Mechancis heal Conquests fists (Still had movement and cortex). Great Bears hack into Judicator. Conquest finishes it, then kills the Heavy. Mortar does little. Doomies kill the Objective.

Sevvy leaves hill, does little, is hurt badly by the mortar then hacked down by a Doomreaver.

Performance: 8/10. Feat timing was critical and successful. Could have held Conquest back at reach distance for added safety, though wasn't needed. Deathbound was misplayed, should have brought back more Doomies. 2 Points short, should have added Sylyss.

35 Point Incursion (Three flags, one randomly disappears)
League effect: Character models become FA 2. Doomreavers get Death bound.

eIrusk - Spriggan, AK's (Max), 2x Great Bears, Drakhun, Doomreavers + UA
eSeverius -  Heavy (Flare), Heavy (Thesher, AoE Fire gun), Redeemer, Errants (Self sac w/crossbows) + UA, Choir, support solos

Summary: Right flag ends up disappearing, not a great deal of troops around it.

Doomreavers, Errants and one lot of Great bears clash on the left, Deathbound causes multiple re-issuings of the Doomies. AK's hold middle, end up gaining two points, but kill nothing and are whittled away. Drakhun circles around the right, ends up threatening Sevvy on the last turn but kills nothing.Menoth Heavies screw up their charge and don't get to the middle flag, Sevvy feat causes the left Great Bears and Doomies to kill some models, but not the Doomie UA thankfully. Spriggan kills the flare heavy. The right Great Bears take on the Redeemer, but fair poorly. Irusk ends up moving up to Dominate a flag while the Spriggan points the other, causing scenario win.

Performance:  6/10. eIrusk feat slowed, but didn't achieve much. Sevvy feat could have been much worse. AK's fire immunity handy for stopping the AoE shots from the Heavy, but didn't hurt anything.

Game 74 - Loss - Strakhov vs Axis

Result: Loss
48 - 26 - 0

50 Point Close Quarters (2 aligned flags).
League effect: Irrelevant region, Strakhov picked by opponent (Axis was his only caster, so no pick for me or it would have been Aurora). Greylord Escort has Deathbound instead of Tough (Brings Doomreavers back to play)
Strakhov - Conquest, Gun Carriage, IFP (Max), Kayazy (min) + Underboss, Doom Reavers + Escort, Drakhun
Axis - Inverter (Heavy with Macro-Pummeler), Cipher (Heavy with special mortar), Diffuser ("Lucky" light), Corollary (Improved Squire), Perforators + UA (Medium Infantry with Assault), Reciprocators + UA (Medium Infantry with Shield Wall), Reductors + UA (Infantry with short range spray), Enigma Foundry (Soul absorber, returns models to play)

Summary: CoC Jacks in Centre, Perforators and Reciprocaros on either flank, Reductors in a long line behind it all. IFP, Conquest, Kayazy and Strak in the centre, Gun Carriage and Doomies on the right.
Both armies advance straight ahead, IFP screen Conquest, Doomies run to the far right. Gun Carriage gets woeful scatters and doesn't put terrain in good places.

Second turn CoC advance again, Strakhov pops feat and charges forward for extra distance, gets all the front elements of the enemy. IFP charge the Perforators to make room for the Conquest to get to the enemy Jacks, midway through disaster. The Diffuser triggers Countercharge to get placed in a blocking position. a few IFP charge it, one of them now in a blocking position, so another IFP charges his friend in the back. The attack rolls are a disaster, the Diffuser in barely scratched but the IFP pops. Perforator casualties are slight. The Kayazy pop mini feat and charge up, one gets to Axis and misses, the rest jam around the place. Doomies charge the Reciprocatrs, kill half, Escort hides behind some terrain for Deathbound. Conquest moves up and hits the Inverter for some damage, but not enough to take any system out. Drakhun and Gun Carriage join the Udnerbosss in blocking positions around Strakhov.

CoC commit butchery. More specifically, Axis pops feat, getting everyone but the Greylord Escort. He also kills the lone Kayazy on him. The Reductors lay waste to the IFP and Kayazy, killing most. A mortar shot flares Strakhov and his covering units, then a Power 6 mortar shot takes off a third of both Strak and the Gun Carriage. The Inverter charges, killing the Carriage with ease then brutalising Strak.

Performance: 4/10. Strak's one trick pony-ism wasn't suitable here. The Doomreaver placement, with the well hidden Greylord with Deathbound was good, aside from that a bit shambolic. Alternative was to not pop feat, run Strak to Dominate the Friendly objective, Shield wall the IFP and put most of them in the covering forest I ignored for the match, while Conquest moves up and blasts at the Invertor, Drakhun hangs back with Strak, Gun Carriage blocks line of sight to Strak, gets Sentried at some point and lays tempaltes. Next turn CoC would have done some light casualties, probably killed Kayazy, some IFP and some Doomies, likely hit up the conquest for a reasonable damage but leaving at least one arm to kill it. Felt threatened by the thought of both wasting feat and needing to fight back through Axis' feat. Blergh.

Game 72/3 - Wins - Harkevich vs MacBain!/eIrusk vs Damiano

Result: Two Win
48 - 25 - 0

35 Point, 1 Zone 1 Flag (Note: Special, armies made by the opponent)
Harkevich - Kodiak, 2x Berserker, MoW Kovnik, Kossites (Max), Boomhowlers (Min), Yuri, Grogspar
MacBain! - Galleon, 2x Mule, 2x Vanguard (Note: 3 points over, whoops!)

Summary: Galleon went to contest the zone, got held up by Boomhowlers and 4+ tough for the game. One Mule went with the Galleon, got messed up horribly by the Kovnik before killing him. The Khador Jacks clashed with everything else over the flag along with Yuri. The other Mule was destroyed by the concerted actions of the Berserkers, the Kodiak threw one of the Vanguards to little effect.

Second half, the Vanguard moved around, MacBain! moved up toward the zone, but Energiser didn't get him far enough away from the Kodiak. The Kodiak ate free strikes, boosted to hit MacBain, putting him on two health, missed with second attack. Turn after the Mules and Vanguards failed to do much to the Kodiak, which free striked MacBain! as he tried to flee.

Performance: 8/10. Positioned correctly overall, tricky matchup, relied on mistake by opponent.

25 Point, 1 Zone 1 Flag
eIrusk - Juggernaught, Sylyss, Mortar, Doomreavers, Kayazy (Max) + UA, Manhunter
Damiano - Rocinante, Gun Mages, Vanguard (Jack Marshaled), Halberdiers (Max), Rupert

Summary: Doomreavers faced off against Halberdiers, Kayazy against Gun Mages. Vanguard ran up the middle, Rocinante and Damiano behind. Rocinante got a lucky scatter and got the Underboss, but he passed his Tough roll.

Stand off between Doomies and Halberds, Doomies ended up charging the Vanguard instead, doing little. Kayazy got mauled as they ran up with with Tactical Supremacy for extra distance, Gun mages are a good counter to them it seems. Rocinante gets a high rolling shot, knocking eIrusk down to 5 health. Damiano feats. Halberds cut down most of the Doomies.

eIrusk feats, Battle Lusts the Kayazy. Three Kayazy and Underboss remain, the normal Kayazy charge Damiano and cut him down (Doomies and Mortar also did some flailing around, but no effect).

Performance: 7/10. Match ups were poor, but not a lot else to do. Gun Mages were brutal against the Kayazy.

Game 71 - Win - MacBain! vs Reznik

Result: Win
46 - 25 - 0

25 Point Close Quarters (Two aligned flags, killbox)
MacBain! - Mangler, Kayazy (Max) + Underboss, Kayazy Eliminators, Aiyana + Holt, Gorman, Orin Midwinter
Reznik - Heavy w/Mace and flare gun, Heavy w/Spear and Fist?, Errant Crossbow Unit + UA/Std, Choir, Mechanic

Summary: Went first, everything ran up, upkeeps went up. Kayazy were facing off the Heavies, Mangler and Eliminators were facing the Errant Crossbows.

Menoth advanced, no shooting was had.

Kayazy jammed into the Jacks, the Boss took cover behind a linear obstacle as a just in case. The Eliminators, flanking on the right, charged and killed an Errant each. The Mangler ran up and engaged. Everything else advanced behind. MacBain advances to Friendly Flag, ready to Dominate.

Reznik hangs back, trips Killbox. Heavies swing and wipe away four of the Kayazy. Errants kill one Eliminator. Choir/Mechanic hang around. MacBain! Dominates for a point, putting me on three.

MacBain! feats, getting all but one of the remaining Kayazy, the Eliminator, Gorman, Orin and Holt. The Kayazy Charge/Run, surrounding Reznik though not hurting him. The Kayazy stabs and fails to kill the Errant officer. The Mangler moves around, killing an Errant. Holt shoots the two Errants in the centre of the table after moving to contest the enemy flag. MacBain! Dominates to put me on four CP's.

Menoth activates, can't get the Kayazy away to move Reznik, Killbox nets two points. Nothing positioned even for a hailmary.

Performance: 7/10. Made right moves over all, but was slow. Also became uncertain with the support pieces (Orin and A+H), they didn't end up needing to act but were poorly placed as a reserve.

Changes: Mangler for the Nomad, given what the Mangler gets used for. Sufficient infantry clearing in the Kayazy. Add in Madelyn possibly.

Games 64 to 70, 2 Wins, 5 Losses, Various

Results: 2 Wins, 5 Losses
45 - 25 - 0

Convergence of Cyriss Event
All Warjack/Warbeast list, each faction has a unique benefit to give one warjack (Best for Khador was constant Superiority)

Game 64
Loss - pVlad vs Ashlynn

Versed Galleon with Mule/Vanguard, advanced safely under Wind Wall, feated and demolished the two non-Colossals. Ashlynn moved up, Gallowed pVlad, got just enough distance for a Galleon drag and hit to kill
Mistakes: Ran Juggernaught up to threaten, should have kept it as a shield for Vlad.

Game 65
Win - Strakhov vs MacBain
Galleon and pair of Nomads, he charged falling short. One nomad was punched up by the Kodiak, then thrown into water to de-activate the boiler, the other was destroyed by the Spriggan/Juggernaught. Berserker moved up to block, was then dragged and destroyed by the Galleon. Strakhov moved up and feated, Spriggan stabbed MacBain.

Game 66
Loss - Zerkova vs Doomshaper

Zerkova feat not the equal of speed buffs. Move along.

Game 67
Win - Harkevich vs Ossyan

Long inconsequential shooting duel, ended by Behemoth wrecking face. Opponent conceded once all his Jacks were dead.

Game 68
Loss - Karchev vs Axis
First game against CoC!

Lost the Spriggan, destroyed all enemy Heavies in reply, Axis hid behind the Powernode (Special Objective). Behemoth destroyed the Powernode.
Axis cast his Bulldoze spell, bumped Behemoth out of the way, got to Karchev and perfectly managed to kill him, 13 attacks later...
Took the right risks, Hailmary just made it.

NOTE: This is the game I discovered I've been using Bulldoze incorrectly since ever.

Game 69
Loss - pButcher vs Ossyan
Sacrificed Berserker to get Butcher into the Colossal, killed it, was only engaging a light jack. Said Light Jack used a 2inch teleport I hadn't seen to get space to slam Butch into Terrain, knocking him down with high damage roll. Ossyan feated, peaked up and shot him to death.

Not a lot to do differently here without knowing about the teleport.

Game 70
Loss - Harkevich vs Ashlynn
Long. Did not have the tools to fight a Galleon.

Game 62 and 63 - Wins - pVlad/pMagnus vs Ashlynn twice

Result: Wins
43-20-0

Game 62

50 Points - 3 flags, assassination
pVlad - Conquest, Gun Carriage, Wardog, 2x Kayazy Eliminators, IFP (Max), Doomreavers, Aiyana and Holt, Mechanics (Min)
Ashlynn - Galleon, 2x Mule, Press Ganger, Sea Dogs, Hawk, pEiyrss, Aiyanna and Holt, Lanyssa, Madelyn

Summary - Doomreavers/Kayazy up the left killed off Hawk and got stuck on the Sea Dogs. Press Gangers on the Right toughed out against the Gun Carriage, where Kayazy and A + H were stymied after the Kayazy killed Eiyrss. Opposing A + H and all Jacks clashed in the middle, with IFP screen getting horribly butchered.
With feat and focus Conquest wrecked the Galleon inspite of Ashlynns feat. Mules loaded up and took out a third of its health. Conquest then grabbed a Mule and threw it at Ashlynn, killing her exactly (14 damage). Vlad spent the game hiding popping SnP.

Performance - 8/10, matched up poorly on the right, Madelyn and Press Gangers were a bigger threat than anticipated. IFP sacrificed appropriately, would have had a lot of trouble if the Mules had been blocking the Galleon.

Game 63

25 Points - Assassination
pMagnus - Mangler, Nomad, 2x Renegades, Kayazy Eliminators, Gorman
Ashlynn - Mule, Press Ganger, Sea Dogs, Hawk, pEiyrss, Aiyanna and Holt, Lanyssa, Madelyn

Summary - Jacks spread out, got buffed and advanced. Kayazy went far right to take out Eiyrss and Madelyn. Eiyrss ran into the middle rather than be killed, Madelyn was left as a distraction. Pirate horde advenced up th emiddle spread out, Ashylnn and Mule far back.

Last buff (Iron Aggresion) placed, Magnus moves to the right as do all the Jacks. Magnus feats, the two Heavies run up and engage various PIrates, the Mangler up in the middle, the Nomad in the front. One Mangler went far up field, one stayed in front of Magnus. Kayazy killed Madelyn.

Ashlynn, A + H and some Pirates combine to kill off the Mangler, the Nomad gets surrounded but is barely hurt (Temper Metal).

Obliteration Assassination attempted, first targeted a Pirate next to Ashlynn to Knock her down. Second shot put her on three health. Nomad flailed without effect, Kayazy spaced out and run up, one positioned for the assassinate. Gorman clouds up Magnus.

Kayazy survives several attacks by Pirates, Ashlynn charges and feats to kill her. Eiyrss misses Magnus. Mule charges the far outflanking Mangler, does a bit of damage. Hawk charges other mangler and does a bit of damage. The Pirates around the Nomad move away, feat stops free strikes from doing anything, they move up with one getting to the back of Magnus.

Kayazy charges Ashlynn, misses twice and is killed by a counter blow. Mangler engaged by Hawk takes a free strike to kill the pirate in Magnus' rear arc. Magnus charges Ashlynn, takes no damage from a  free strike. Boosting to hits under Ashlynn's Feat sucked hard, counter attacks took 2/3rd of Magnus' health before he connected and killed her.

Performance -  5/10. Number of lucky events to win. Possibly should have kept Mangler behind Nomad, who was better placed and could absorb more damage from the Magnus feat movement.

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Game 60 and 61 - Wins - pMagnus/MacBain vs eStryker twice

Result: Wins
41-20-0

25 Points - Assassinations both times
eStryker - Charger, Hunter, 'Ol Rowdy, Stormcad, Squire
pMagnus - Mangler, Nomad, 2x Renegades, pEiyrss, Gorman
MacBain - Mangler, Kayazy Assassins (Max) + Underboss, pEiyrss, Gorman, Aiyana + Holt, Orin Midwinter

Summary - Game one, Cygnar moves up, Hunter gets Disrupted by Eiryss. Turn after Renegades Obliterate Stryker.

Performance -  10/10, textbook.

Summary - Game two, Cygnar moves up, this time Hunter is on the far flank. Eiyrss disrupts the Charger. Countermeasured Kayazy move up. Cygnar runs all Jacks up into combat. Eiyrss disrupts Stryker, Kayazy min-feat, charge and kill Stryker.

Performance - 10/10. Standard Kayazy run up and stab.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013

Game 59 - Win - Karchev vs pHexeris

Result: Win
39-20-0

25 Points - Machinations League, No Region, Central Zone and one Objective apiece.
Karchev - Behemoth, Kodiak, Devastator
pHexeris - 3x Cyclops (2x Savage, 1 Brute), Slingers, Spell booster attachment, Paingivers, Warrior unit

Summary - Khador went first, everything Towed up and advanced. Skorne ran forward en-masse. Turn 2 Karchev feated, Devestator Rain of Death'ed on a few of the Slingers, Behemoth killed a Savage, Kodiak clouded up. Devestator was pummeled by Slingers and the Brute and left with minimal health. Warrior unit charged Karchev, doing little, Remaining Savage charged Behemoth doing little. Hexeris charged and killed the Devestator, spell blasted Karchev, feated (Pick up Fury on the table), blasted Karchev some more, didn't do to well. Next turn Kodiak was laoded up, fiven Unearthly Rage and charged Hexeris, killing him with the Chain Attack Head Butt.

Performance -  10/10. Skew list game, opponent had minimal options.

Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Game 58 - Win - pButcher vs eVayl

Result: Win
38-20-0

15 Points - Machinations League, Upkeeps for free, Killbox assassination.

pButcher - Spriggan, Kayazy Assassins (Max) + UA, Wardog
eVayl - Typhon, Angelius

Summary - Khador go first, everything moves up with the Kayazy getting Iron flesh. Legion move up. Turn two Kayazy spread out and rund up, one moves up to engage the Angelius. The Spriggan shambles into the middle, Butcher goes to the left to stop a range assassination from the Angelius.
Angelius kills the Kayazy on it, moves back via spell. Typhon moves in, kills a Kayazy, misses with the rest of the attacks. eVayl moves out a little, kills a few of the Kayazy with ranged attacks. Butcher moves up, feats, Iron Fleshes himself, casts Fury on the Kayazy. Spriggan moves up but doesn't get in range (No focus put on to charge). Kayazy charge Typhon and Angelius, killing both. Vayl moves up, feats, fails to kill Butcher. Opponent concedes.

Performance -  9/10.Only change would be to camp focus last turn rather than cast Iron Flesh (Vayl has Purification) and put a focus on the Spriggan so he could aid in Typhon killling.

Game 57 - Win - Harkevich vs Durgen

Result: Win
37-20-0

25 Points - Machinations League, Warcasters gained overload (Forgotten during game). Outflank scenario (Two Circle zones next to each other, control/dominate)

Harkevich - Black Ivan, WGRC (max), Kovnik Joe, Gorman, Sylyss, 2x Kayazy Eliminators
Duren Madhammer - Driller, Mortar, Ogrun Assault Corp, TAC, Herne & Jonne, Gudrun the Wanderer

Summary - Get first turn, advance in a spread out formation. Rhulics move up, do minimal with AoE's. Gudrun gets up in the face of the WGRC.

Turn two, everyone moves up, Black Ivan is just short of the mortar. The WGRC shoot down Gudrun, who pops back up in their melee range (Special league version of model). Hark moves up behind Black Ivan. Gorman clouds them both. The left most Kayazy contest the zone, the right most charge and tie up two of the Ogrun Assault Corp.

Durgen feats, the resulting barrages kill Black Ivan stone dead. Gudrun mauls half of the WGRC, the Ogrun move up and kill some more WGRC, the Kayazy are missed. Herne and Jonne move up, fail to kill the left most Kayazy. TAC move up and do little.

Hark feats (Only affecting himself). He shoot Gudrun in the back, killing him. He then charges and kills a TAC and an Ogrun, using beat back to try to manouver away from Durgen. The left most Kayazy charge and kill Herne and Jonne. The WGRC kill the remaining member of the TAC. The right Kayazy split, one engaging the mortar, the other stays on the Ogrun.

Durgen charges Hark but does little damage. The Ogrun kill the Kayazy on them, the Driller fires a shot to no effect.

Hark kills Durgen

Performance -  4/10. Feated a turn to late to save Black Ivan, worked out but was still poor tactically. Rhuls would if one if the region conditions had been remembered.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Game 56 - Loss - Harkevich vs pGoreshade

Result: Loss
36-20-0

Harkevich - Conquest, Black Ivan, WGRC (max), Kovnik Joe, Aiyana and Holt, Gorman, Doom Reavers, Mechaniks (min), Sylyss [Note: Down 2 points, cause I'm an idiot]
pGoreshade - Deathjack, Slayer, Reaper, Bane Knights, Tartarus, Satyxis, Repair, bile thralls, scrap thrall, little pointless dudes

Summary - Not enough units, couldn't stop scenario win. Conquest punching things to death was awesome. Doom Reavers needed back up. Bile Thralls lose to WGRC. Goreshade gives army Stealth, which was lame. Black Ivan was a waste in this match, possibly would have served all right on the other flank againt the Satyrxis.

Performance -  6/10.

Saturday, July 13, 2013

Games 52 - 55 - Mangled Metal Tourney - 1W, 3L

Results: One Win, Three Losses
36-19-0

25 point games, pair of flags in every table.

List: Karchev, Behemoth, Kodiak, Devestator

Summaries:

Game 1 - eLylth, 3 Ravagores

Assassinated turn 2. Realised halfway through moving the Kodiak, my final activation, the the intended smoke screen would be ignored by eyeless sight. lacked sufficient movement to block line of sight to Karchev, who was duly Pin Cushioned, Feated at and blasted by the Ravagores.

Performance -  0/10. Just dumb.

Game 2 - Kraye, 'Ol Rowdy, 2x Hunter, Stormclad

Wasted feat on opening turn, moved up, Behemoth got counter charged and knocked down by 'Ol Rowdy. Behemoth gets mauled. Kodiak moves up, gets nothing. Rowdy gets killed by Behemoth, Karchev gets one of the Hunters. Kodiak gets and Stormclad both die. Karchev backslides to try to get the Hunter with the Devestator for the win, rolls poor damage and loses to scenario.

Performance -  7/10. Opening charge and feat was a waste, recovered well. Would have one with average damage rolls on the final turn.

Game 3 - eStryker, 'Ol Rowdy, 2x Stormclad

Clash in the middle, on big feat charge turn Behemoth got Counter charged by 'Ol Rowdy. And crit knockdowned. AGAIN. Behemoth stood and killed him, Kodiak killed one Stormclad, but due to the knockdown the Devastator couldn't do anything. Next turn with full focus load out and Stryker feat Karchev died.

Performance -  6/10. Afterward realised coutner charge shouldn't have been triggered by the place effect. could have still saved potentially by using the Devastator to bulldoze, but would have been dicey.

Game 4 - pStryker - Stormclad, Hunter, 2x Cyclone

Ran up and to the left, Cygnar jacks were to spaced out. Hunter got knocked down twice by Karchev spray attack this game, Behemoth killed a Cyclone, Stormclad died the same way. Won on scenario.

Performance - 10/10. Wouldn't change a thing for this one.

Game 51 - Win - pIrusk vs pSeverius

Result:Win
35-16-0

35 Points, Region 2 of Entropy (Spells upkept for free), trench in centre needs to be domianted. All models outside of the trench removed on end of turn six.

pIrusk - Behemoth, Kayazy (max) + UA, WGI (max) + UA, Kovnik Joe, Gorman, Doom Reavers
pSeverius - Avatar (Character Heavy), Blessing of Vengeance (Character Light Revenger), Exemplar Bastions (Damage shifting dudes), Bastion Seneschal (Solo support), Choir, Hierophant, Zealots + Monolith

Summary - Menoth went first, Bastions and Seneschal against the Kayazy on the left, Menoth Jacks started int he middle with Severius and support models behind, facing off against the WGI, Gorman and Irusk, right flank was Zealots against Behemoth and a screen of Doom Reavers.

Everything runs forward for Menoth. In reply the Doom Reavers run at the Zealots, two of them getting in melee range. Kayazy and WGI advance, Irusk puts Superiority on Behemoth and Iron flesh on the WGI, both spells stay for the remainder of the game. Behemoth tramples forward, gets in range of the Monolith Bearer and kills him.

The Zealots kill off all but one of the Doomreavers, both Menoth Jacks run to the right to intercept Behemoth. Everything else advances, Severius staying somewhat far back.
Behemoth charges Avatar, damaging it heavily (Mistake: Had a spell to disregard first hit it took, should have charged Doom Reaver in to get rid of it). Doom Reaver moves up and hits Avatar for a little bit. WGI shuffle forward, don't hurt the Blessing Jack. Irusk puts Battle Lust on the Kayazy, who mess up the Behemoth.

Short summation for finisher: Behemoth scraps Avatar, Blessing gets tangled up by the WGI, the Kayazy eventually finish off the Bastions courtesy of Battle Lust, the Doomreaver finally gets pasted by the last few Zealots. Severius feats to delay things for a round. After that Behemoth tramples over the Choir and gets to Sevvy, after two turns pummels him into the ground, though Sevvy arcs through the Blessed to leave Irusk on 5 health.

Performance - 6/10.Screw up on the Behemoth charge on the Avatar a nearly deadly mistake. Almost feated turn 1, which would have been insanely premature. Otherwise controlled matchups reasonably, good use of the high defence shticks.

Game 50 - Loss - Old Witch vs eStryker

Result:Loss
34-16-0

15 Points

Old Witch - Berserker, 2x Kayazy Eliminators, Drakhun, Wardog

eStryker - 'Ol Rowdy, Squire, Journeyman, Black 13th

Summary -OLD WITCH IS BAD AT 15 POINTS. (Randomised warcaster due to League rules).
Fell just short with Drakhun, was bad. Berserker was rubbish.

Performance - 3/10.

Game 48 - Win - Old Witch vs eGaspy

Result: Win
 33-15-0

50 Point Incursion (Two off centre zones, each assigned, objective for either side to destroy.

Old Witch & Scrapjack - Behemoth, Gun Carriage, Doomreavers, Gorman, Sylyss, WGRC (max), Joe, 2x Kayazy Eliminators, Drakhun
eGaspy - Seether (Heavy, chain attack), Slayer? (Heavy, basic), 2x Defiler (Lights, arcnodes), Bane Thralls + UA, Tartarus, 2x Pistol Wraiths, 2x Warwitch Siren (Magic users), Darragh Wrathe, 3 model support unit

Summary -

Performance - 8/10. Fairly well mastered Karchev at this point level.

Game 49 - Win - Zerkova vs pSkarre

Result: Win
34-15-0

50 Points Incoming (Two zones, two Objectives, both divided as one friendly/one enemy)

Zerkova - Conquest, 2x Kayazy Eliminators, Drakhun, WGRC (max), Koldun Joe, Doom Reavers, Sylyss, Mechanics, [6 Point short?]
pSkarre - 2x Deathripper (Arc), Slayer (Basic Heavy), Reaper (Harpoon heavy), Bane Knights, Tartarus, Satyrix Raiders + UA, Revenant Crew, Captain Rengrave, Blackbane's Ghost Raiders, Necrotech + Scrap Thrall, Skarlock

Summary - Cryx horde effectively held up by the Doom Reavers and one of the Kayazy units. The Khador units die, but take out most of the enemy units. Bane Knights and Tartarus killed by Conquest fire and the Drakhun. The Conquest hits Skarre for 10 damage. The Heavies move up to first shield Skarre, then kill the Drakhun. One of the Kayazy gets to Skarre, stupidly before the WGRC fire on her. AS a result, they all miss. Skarre killls the Kayazy, and moves into Cover. The WGRC move up and finish Skarre off.

Performance - 7/10. The Kayazy move to Skarre before firing the WGRC was silly, extended game by a couple of turns. Doom Reavers lucked out, the Unit Leader was missed multiple times and by himself killed a dozen models.

Game 47 - Win - Karchev vs pMakeda

Result: Win
 32-15-0

25 Point Destruction (Zone in centre, each corner a destroyable objective)

Karchev - Behemoth, Devastator, Kodiak
pMakeda - Titan Gladiator, Paingivers, Nihilators (Berserk, Tough infantry), Molik Karn

Summary - Skorne charged up, Molik Karn sped out on the left flank, spread out Nihilators covered Zone, everything else behind. Karchev Towed up , the Jacks then moved in front of him. Very careful to have objectives between Molik and K.

Nihilators ran up to engage the Devestator, Molik moved further up, everything else advances.
Devestator Bulldozes up, Rain of Death gets a few of the Nihilators. Karchev Arkantrik Turbines for movement, casts Unearthly Rage, Feats and slighshots the Behemoth to charge Molik, who is destroyed with ease. Kodiak moves up and kills a Nihilator.

Titan Gladiator charges the Devestator and Kodiak, taking out both Cortexes and an arm each. Nihilators charge in and do a few more points. Makeda moves up.
Karchev casts Unearthly Rage, moves over to the Titan and burns his remaining focus to kill it. Devestator moves up and punches a Nihilator, Kodiak does as well. Behemoth charges and destroys an Objective.

Makeda charges in, falls just short of the Devastator. Opponent concedes.

Performance - 10/10. Fairly well mastered Karchev at this point level.

Game 46 - Win - Strakhov vs eLylyth

Result: Win
 31-15-0

35 Point Ammunition Run (Zone in centre, three objectives [1 Friend, 1 Neutral, 1 Enemy]). Points for Zone and destroying Neutral/Enemy Objectives.

Strakhov - Spriggan, Gun Carriage, 2x Kayazy Eliminators, Doom Reavers, Kossite Woodsmen (min), Drakhun, Wardog
eLylyth -  Shredder, 2x Ravagore, Shepherd, Strider Deathstalker (Assassin solo), Raek, Nyss Raptors (Light cavalry, archers)

Summary - Legion went first, the Raptors moved up but were out of range of the Doomreavers. Lylyth then feated (Everything gets Snipe) and everything moved up, but due to range only a single Doomreaver was killed. In reply Khador ran up, Strakhov using Superiority on the Spriggan. Strakhov is immune to the Ravagore range attack as it is both fire and corrosion damage.

The Raptors pulled back, killing the Doom Reavers. Lylyth used a debuff on the Spriggan, which then had it's Cortex destroyed by the Ravagore's shooting. The Deathstalker killed one of the Kayazy on the right flank, the other then failed their command check.
The Kossites appeared behind the Raptors. Strakhov moves up and feats, getting Lylyth and the Ravagores. The Gun Carriage moves up and sprays some shots to no effect, but shields Strakhov. The Spriggan and Drakhun charge the Ravagores, but roll poor damage. The Kossites charge into the Raptors, they do little damage (4 points to one of them) but move up to engage them all.
Strakhov Dominates the Zone for 2 points.

The Raptors turn around and kill all the Kossites. Lylyth and the Ravagores kill the Spriggan and dismount the Drakhun. The Raek moves up and shoots ineffectually. The Deathstalker only injures the Kayazy on the right.
Strakhov kills the Neutral objective and Dominates the Zone again, win on scenario.

Performance - 4/10. Victory achieved by opponent's mistakes rather than much that I did, list was a poor matchup for Strakhov. Kossites were surprisingly critical on the one turn. Still dubious about facing off against ranged Legion, caster change would be first step.

Game 45 - Win - Karchev vs Thyra

Result: Win
 30-15-0

25 Point  Close Quarters (two flags near centre, one friendly on enemy) with relaxed Time Limits

Karchev - Behemoth, Devastator, Kodik
Thyra -  Reckoner (Heavy, Flare gun), Revenger (Light, Repulsor), Choir, Covenant (Buff model), Flameguard, Gorman, Nicia (Assassin solo), Wracks, Support solo (Makes spell cheaper)

Summary - Both armies run up, most of the opposing infantry has advance deploy, the Flame Guard and Nicia are out front. Karchev tows everyone up and faces to the left, the Kodiak runs for free to engage Nicia (Pointless, has acrobatics), the Devestator charges the spread out Flamgeuard, bulldozing the one it makes contact with and Rain of Deathing to get half the unit. Behemoth bombards a Choir member and injures but doesn't kill Gorman.

Nicia moves t the back of the Kodiak, doesn't damage it. Reckoner charges Devastator, damages it heavily but not killing it. Gorman sneaks to gap between Kodiak and Devastator to Black Oil Behemoth. Revenger moves up next to the Reckoner. Support staff move up behind Jacks, Thyra moves up, casts Pursuit on Behemoth (If it moves, model in battle group gets a free move), remaining flameguard hang around.
Devastator moves around, bulldozes a flameguard around, Rain of death kills it and Gorman. Karchev charges Revenger, popping Behemoth behind him. Cast Unearthly Rage and takes out the Repulsor Shield. Behemoth is now in range of the Reckoner sacs Movement to get rid of Black Oil and destroyes the Reckoner with Initial attacks. Kodiak moves around and kills Nicia.

Reckoner goes all out on Karchev, doesn't do much. Support models move up to contest the enemy flag, Thyra moves up and casts pursuit on Karchev.
Karchev swivels around, feats and cast Unearthly Rage, Behemoth and Devestator sling to Back Arc. He attacks and destroys the Reckoner. Thyra moves from Pursuit, moving to the other end of a small forest near the flag. Kodiak runs up to ensure I contest the enemy flag. Devestator moves through forest and Rains of Death, putting Thyra on one hitpoint. Behemoth moves to Thyra, makes three boosted attacks and misses each one. Fires bombards point blank, does a point of damage for the kill.

Performance -9/10. Only mistake was expecting the Kodiak to matter being in range of Nicia. Interesting list off, the other one had eFeora with a Judicator (Colossal) that I wasn't confident the Butcher list could deal well with, but he went with the infantry spam out of fear of the Kayazy.

Game 44 - Loss - pButcher vs Kallus

Result: Loss
 29-15-0

25 Point  Rally Point (Two Circle + a movable objective each) with relaxed Time Limits

pButcher - Spriggan, Wardog, Kayazy Assassins (Max) + Underboss, WGRC (Max), Kovnik Joe
Kallus - Scythean (Heavy, Chain Attack), Shredder? (Lesser beast), Nyss Swordsmen (Weaponmasters) + UA (Officer and stuff), Ogrun Warmongers (Reach, Terror, Berserk)

Summary - Nyss face of WGRC on the left, Warmongers against Kayazy on the left. He gets the Inaitive, charging the Nyss in under feat, the Warmongers are held up by few of the Kayazy (Feat: Infantry models I kill get resurrected as Incubi). Kayazy survive, get Fury'ed and feated, charge Kallus, Ogrun and Shredder. Foolishly attack Kallus first, who tranfers damage to Shredder, Shredder is then killed and the Scythean gets mauled by the next transfer, a few other things get killed.
The WGRC get cut down to one man, the Nyss also get Joe and the Object before Butcher finishes them off, Spriggan advances and does little. Ogrun charge in to Butcher and Spriggan, as does the heavily injured Scythean, they do little and are killed for their trouble, Kallus Dominates the right flank zone and wins it.

Performance -7/10.Favourite game of the day (Out of four)
  • Very different take on Legion, found it much more interesting than the usual range beast laden stuff
  • Primary mistakes: Should have killed Shredder before doing attacks on Kallus to stop that Transfer point, Spriggan should have gone to the right and Butcher to the left for an even divide. Possibly a little paranoid from being Molik Karn'ed in previous game.
  • Additional: WGRC under order to roll better when udner Butchers feat, should have killed Scythean but just couldn't do it.
  • Need to be more familiar with Steamroller conditions, didn't realise both players scored except for when Dominate clashes come up

Game 43 - Win - pButcher vs pMakeda

Result: Win
 29-14-0

25 Point  Outflank Scenario (Two circle beside each other, both of equal value if controlled) with relaxed Time Limits

pButcher - Spriggan, Wardog, Kayazy Assassins (Max) + Underboss, WGRC (Max), Kovnik Joe
pMakeda - Titan Gladiator, Paingivers, Nihilators (Berserk, Tough infantry), MOLIK KARN

Summary -Skorne went first, advanced up with the Nihilators going to my left, Paingivers and Titan to the right. Butcher put Iron Flesh on the WGRC, and charged to get further up the field, Spriggan ran up next to him, Dog stayed him. WGRC moved up and placed Covering Fire in front of the Nihilators, were given Fearless/Tough by Joe. Assassins spread out to the right.

Nihilators ran around the Covering Fire template, Gladiator and Paingivers edged further up the right. Makeda used an epic speed boost on Molik Karn, who charged Butcher. First hit did 13 damage, 5 odd attacks after that failed to hit.
Butcher feated, spent a couple of focus to kill Molik Karn, then Iron Fleshed himself. WGRC got a boost to hit from Joe, failed miserably at hitting but killed about half of the nihilators. The Kayazy ran up and enganged the Paingivers/Titan.

Over the next couple of turns most of the WGRC were killed by the Nihilators, the paingivers were killed by the Kayazy, Makeda moved up and tried a hailmary spell kill on Butcher but missed, then a Full Throttled Spriggan loaded with Focus charged Makeda and cut her down.

Performance -7/10. Lucky opponent didn't use Makeda's feat (Returns destroyed models from a unit, would have brought back the Nihilators and caused much grief). Probably wouldn't change much, may used Spriggan's bulldoze to move Butcher to a safer spot.

Game 42 - Loss - Karchev vs pBaldur

Result: Loss
28-14-0

25 Point Close Quarters (Two flags near middle, points for Dominating friendly and controlling enemy) with relaxed Time Limits

Karchev - Behemoth, Devastator, Kodiak
pBaldur - Pureblood Warpwolf, Wold Guardian (Heavy, Knockdown + Push), Gorax?, Druids of Orobos (Push/Pull spell + Cloud),

Summary - Ouch. Just....ouch.

Both armies advanced, the Druids in front of the Circle popping cloud effects, the Kodiak peeled off to position itself to contest my flag. Karchev popped Sidearms with the other Jacks.

The Druids used their pull attacks, a Jack would get dragged out, pummeled by the heavies and killed. Started with the Kodiak, Baldur feated which ruined any movement shenanigans, Karchev slung Behemoth around and the Wold Guardian was killed, before being slaughtered by the Warpwolf. Karchev would then be mauled by everything else, leaving the Devestator to be de-activated.

Performance - 4/10.
  • List mismatch, other list was a pButcher infantry focused, would have been better off but historically used to Circle having Stealth everywhere. Should have checked what the opposing casters did and not used Karchev
  • Locked down horribly, not a lot to do about it, only possible alternate action was to pull back and suck up losing points for a turn then doing a retaliatory strike once Baldurs feat was finished.
